Dear KEEN alumni and friends, Hello and welcome to the latest instalment of KEEN’s Alumni Review! 2011-12 has been another action packed year, in which new activi- ties (getting into the swing of KEEN golf, having a hoot at GrEAT Owl night, getting our groove on at the KEEN fashion show!) comple- mented tried and tested classics. Please flick through this year’s An- nual Review for a full account of the amazing times we’ve had! Personally I’m still struggling to get to grips with the fact that this year, as part of my job for which I am paid, I’ve sung songs, climbed walls, been on giant inflatable obstacle courses, dressed up, played sport, travelled, been bowling, had campfires, captured flags, es- caped dinosaurs and landed on the moon. It’s been an incredible experience and honour to direct such an fantastic organisation for a year and I’m sad to leave. But in next year’s co-ordinator, Nathan Webster (see right), I know we have found an energetic, hugely competent and inspiring leader for the future, and I am certain KEEN will have its best ever year in 2012-13 (when KEEN will be 25)! Finally, I would like to invite all of you in a position to do so, to help KEEN secure its future by making a donation to the charity so that we can continue our work in providing opportunities for children with special needs. Even a small amount can make a vast differ- ence to what we are able to do please see the reverse of this re- view for details.
