In the first part of kanye west video its a close up of his face  which emphasis the darkness of his face and how they contrast with the light in his eyes the opening scene is also a push out it shows kanye west dressed in black robes and sporting a pendant of ra .Also the camera does a zoom which is going towards establishing a wide shot of the video. The camera movements do not change they just pan out to show a painting.

The concept of the video is to show thats is basically  painting. This is quite unusual has u would expect there to be movement in the video but there isnt any.  the lighting of the video is quite grey in some respects the lighting is more on the characters to show how they stand out of the video.Any movement in the video is in very slow motion. the vidoe is depicting a moving painting thats symbolises power almost like kanye west is a god.

They are also the symbols in the video that are important like the sword of Damocles hanging over his head which a constant reminder that although he is in a position of power there is always a looming threat that hangs over him always

the video pans out to reaveal other characters in the video  kanye west character gets smaller during the video until we got a full body shot of him in the video.

Kanye west is being represented as a man in power sourrounded by woman woshipping him and also play a submissive role it also potrays woman engaging in other sexual relations with another woman. the woman are also potrayed as mythical creatures sourrounding him to protect him.even though he has all this things they are still people that are out to destroy him as the two men at the end are going to strike him with swords.

The lighting gets quite bright as sparks start to fly at the end of the video. because the track is quite slow and its a build up then the video is quite slow editing at pace.

Lady gaga paparazzi

In this video it starts of with several shots of the place that she lives her house, the gardens etc.... its starting like a movie showing this idealic sunny place that she lives in. we see lady gaga potarying that they are inlove untill the scene of the balcony were he throws her off.

They are a various camera shots used to show lady gaga.they use wide shots, medium close ups and also close ups. this shows her as quite a wealthy woman in expensive clothes and house she lives in there are close ups of some of the furniture to illustrate this. this camera  are showing her extraggavent sense of style. The video is influenced by sex and fashion and you can see this through the reavealing clothes she is wearing how Avant-garde the clothes are she is pushing the boundaries of fashion aswell as music but still relying on the sex sells notion that woman still cater to.

The editing is fast paced to give an impression of camera flashing all the time and this ties in with the title of paparazzi its also showing there are a lot of things going on with the video  e.g with beautiful dead girls all over the mansion all in dramatic makeup dark eyes red lipstick  there is also a lot of sexual innuendo in the videos which is unusaul for a female popstar to have so may so many naked woman in her videos. lady gaga even goes as far as into engaging in lesbian kisses in the video.  all throught the video its like lady gaga is paying homage to her self with glimpses of titles on magazines saying new it girl

they are a lot of bright colours in the video its all very bright and glamorous its also in your face and attention grabbing. the video follows a convention of a cinematic style following in the footsteps of micheal jackson thriller.

the video also plays up to the relationship of celebrity and the papparazzi. ladygaga is trying to show how all the attention grabbing clothes she wears and her mudering her lover gets her into the newspapers and makes her more famous but its also ironic that she died because she didnt want the paparazzi taking pics of her and her lover.

Rihanna Russian Roulette The video starts of with a wide shot showing rihanna laying on the floor in a bare room. which seems to be an  mental asylum. they are close up shot a scratch  marks on the wall this in dicates its goin to be a dark video. the scene quickly changes to a darkly lit room with little furniture except a table and two chairs which shows rihanna and another character sitting opposite each other  with a gun on the table. the camera lingers on the gun for a while so we get a clear shot of it this tells the audience that the theme of the video would involve violence.    there is also distortaion in the video which shows flashing images of diffrent shots illustarting gory scences a tigers head,blood etc.... they are lots of closeups of rihanna face showing the anguish on her face. they are a lot of scenes in darkly lit rooms to carry on this theme of mystery  were we do not know why she is in this place and men dressed in quite intimidating clothes it almost reminds of torture chambers,

The editing of the video is quite slow as the song is a ballad.the video is shot to look like a mini video with scenes that resemble flash backs of an event.they are a lot of closeups of the eyes of the characters especially in the scene were they are both sitting in a room with just a table passing the gun back and forth almost like they are gambling with each other lives, which ties in with the title of the song.   

the video shows rihanna as a dark shadowy figure and there is quite a bit of violence in the video for a pop singer thesy are shots of blod coming out of her chest were she has been shot. the video is showing us diffrent ways of her dying. eg the scene in the water were they are bulletts flying and being sot at her. In the video rihanna is in some kinda of prison but is projecting her self outside of the prison in difrrent situations like the dessert were she gets run over by a car
