Which of the following signs are linked with the WW II? Mark with an “X” under the right images. 2. Mark the right sentence with T (from “True) and the false sentence with F (from “false”): Romania was involved in the WW II since 1939 by helping the Polish government and Polish army. Holland has declared its neutrality in 1939, but it was attacked and occupied by Nazi in 1940 and then the Dutch have joined the Allies. The Axe Berlin-Rome-Tokio was defeated by The Allies (UK-France-Soviet Union+USA+Republic of China). The D-Day is the day when The Allies landed in Normandy; it was on the 6 th of December 1944. The Holocaust was one of the most horrible genocides in history; since 2005, the memory of its victims is international celebrated every year at 27 th of January and it has the meaning of the date when the Soviet Army has freed the largest Nazi extermination camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau (now in Poland), in 1945. 3.
