Listen to or watch Mrs Cunningham read ‘The One-Stop Story Shop’.

Can you think of your own adventure or story that the knight and ferret could go on? You could write it out as a short story or draw it as a comic strip

P3 Recipe Book

Continue to send in your favourite home recipes, along with any pictures or photographs of you

making and enjoying what you’ve made. Make sure to include: recipe name, ingredients and

instructions. You could write, draw or type out your recipes.

Competition: Send in your design for the front cover of the book. Remember to include a title.

We will put all the recipes together including the winning front cover design to make our own P3 recipe book! Happy cooking or baking!

Water Safety

With the beautiful weather we have been having lately, lots of people are beginning to think about

being around water more to keep cool, e.g. paddling pools in gardens and walks on the beach.

Watch the video about Water Safety that has been

uploaded onto the Online Learning Journals and Seesaw. Think about how you can stay safe around

water.

Look at attached picture below. With an adult, discuss all the possible dangers related to water in this home and think about what could be done to

make it safer. Think about your own home and have a chat about how to stay safe around water there.

Granton P.S. Guardian Snake

While out for exercise, keep an eye out for a suitable stone.

When you get home, paint the stone with as much detail as possible. You can use patterns or lines

to make it bright and colourful.

Then, next time you pass the school, leave your stone outside the front gate, side by side along the gate to create a snake that wraps around

(and protects) the school.
