By consolidating ast, highly available switching, routing, security, and next generation irewall capabilities in a si ngle device, enterprises can protect their resources as well as economically deliver new services, sae connectivity , and a satisying end- user experience. All SRX Series Services Gateways, including products scaled or Enterprise branch, Enterprise edge, and Data Center applications, are powered by Junos OS—the proven operating system that provides unmatched consistency, better perormanc e with services, and superior inrastructure protection at a lower total cost o ownership. Product Description The Juniper Networks ®  SRX Series Services Gateways or the branch combine next generation irewall and uniied threat management (UTM) services with routing and switching in a single, high-perormanc e, cost-eec tive network device. SRX Series or the branch runs Juniper Networks Junos ®  operating system, the proven OS that is used by core Internet routers in all o the top 100 service providers around the world. The rigorously tested carrier-class routing eatures o IPv4/IPv6, OSPF, BGP, and multicast have been proven in over 1 5 years o worldwide deployments. SRX Series or the branch provides perimeter security, c ontent security , application visibility, tracking and policy enorcement, user role-based control, threat intelligence through integration with Juniper Networks Spotlight Secure* , and network-wide threat visibility and control. Using zones and policies, network administrators can congure and deploy branch SRX Series gateways quickly and securely. Policy-based VPNs support more complex security architectures that require dynamic addressing and split tunneling. The SRX Series also includes wizards or rewall, IPsec VPN, Network Address Translation (NAT), and initial setup to simpliy congurations out o the box. For content security, SRX Series or the br anch oers a complete suite o next generation irewall, uniied threat management (UTM) and threat intelligence services consisting o: intrusion prevention system (IPS), application security (AppSecure), user role-based irewall controls, on-box and cloud-based antivirus, antispam, and enhanced Web iltering to protect your network rom the latest content-borne threats. Integrated threat intelligence via Spotlight Secure oers adaptive threat protection against command and control (C&C) related botnets and policy enorcement based on GeoIP and attacker ingerprinting technology (the latter or Web application protection)—all o which are based on Juniper provided eeds. Customers may also leverage their own custom and third-party eeds or protection rom advanced malware and other threats. The branch SRX Series integrates with other Juniper security products to deliver enterprise-wide uniied access control (UAC) and adaptive threat management.
