Joy to the World , the Lord is come!Let earth receive her King;

Let every heart prepare Him room,And Heaven and nature sing,

And Heaven and nature sing,And Heaven, and Heaven, and

nature sing.

Joy to the World

Joy to the World, the Savior reigns!Let men their songs employ;

While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains

Repeat the sounding joy,Repeat the sounding joy,

Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

He rules the world with truth and grace,And makes the nations prove

The glories of His righteousness,And wonders of His love,

And wonders of His love,And wonders, wonders, of His

love.

Once in Royal David’s City

Once in royal David's city

Stood a lowly cattle shed,

Where a mother laid her baby

In a manger for His bed:

Mary was that mother mild,

Jesus Christ her little child.

He came down to earth from heaven, Who is God and Lord of all, And His shelter was a stable, And His cradle was a stall; With the poor, and mean, and lowly, Lived on earth our Saviour Holy.

And through all His wondrous childhood He would honour and obey, Love and watch the lowly Maiden, In whose gentle arms He lay: Christian children all must be Mild, obedient, good as He.

Mary’s Child

Born in the night, Mary's child,

a long way from your home:

coming in need, Mary's child,

born in a borrowed room.

Clear shining light, Mary's child, your face lights up our way:

light of the world, Mary's child, dawn on our darkened day.

Hope of the world, Mary's child, you're coming soon to reign:

king of the earth, Mary's child, walk in our streets again.

Away in a Manger

Away in a manger,No crib for His bed

The little Lord JesusLaid down His sweet head

The stars in the bright skyLooked down where He lay

The little Lord JesusAsleep on the hay

The cattle are lowingThe Baby awakes

But little Lord JesusNo crying He makes

I love Thee, Lord JesusLook down from the sky

And stay by my side,Until morning is nigh.

Be near me, Lord Jesus,I ask Thee to stay

Close by me foreverAnd love me I pray

Bless all the dear childrenIn Thy tender care

And fit us for heavenTo live with Thee there

Bells of Bethlehem

All the bells of Bethlehem ring

They ring to the glory of Jesus our King

They ring out with mirth the first Christmas on Earth

And they ring dong ding dong ding

Silent night, holy night,All is calm, all is brightRound yon virgin mother and child.Holy infant so tender and mild,Sleep in heavenly peace.Sleep in heavenly peace.

Silent Night

Silent night, holy night,Shepherds quake at the sight,Glories stream from heaven afar,Heavenly hosts sing alleluia;Christ the Savior, is born!Christ the Savior, is born!

Silent night, holy night,Son of God, love's pure lightRadiant beams from thy holy face,With the dawn of redeeming grace,Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.Jesus, Lord, at thy birth.

Stille nacht, heilige nacht

Alles schleft, einsam wacht

Nur das trauter hoch heilige par

Onder knabbe im lockigen haar

Schlaf im himlischer ruh, schlaf in himlischer ruh

O Holy Night

O Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining

It is the night of our dear Savior's birth

Long lay the world in sin and error pining

Till he appeared and the soul felt it's worth

The thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn

Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices

O night divine O night when Christ was born

O night divine, O night, o night divine

Starlight

In the dark a candle glowsa single flame burning free

A golden light that shines so brightTo show the path for you and me

In the dark a star appearsA single star shining free

A silver light that shines so brightTo show the pathway through the night

Starlight guide me, candlelight provide me,

With the light to lead me to where the dream came true.

Show the stranger to that lowly manger,

Where a baby’s cry was heard

All over the world.

In the dark a glow appears,

A special glow no-one can see.

It warms the night, it reaches out,

And touches you and touches me.

From the dark the sun appears,

A brighter day begins to grow.

There won’t be dark like dark before.

The light will shine for evermore.

Starlight guide me, candlelight provide me,With the light to lead me to where the dream came true.

Show the stranger to that lowly manger,Where a baby’s cry was heardAll over the world.

Three Wise Men

Born a king on earth to reign;

A gift of gold I bring to crown him again.

Frankincense offering for the gentle infant King.

Heav’n and earth proclaim the birth, joyfully sing!

Humbly I must kneel, my gift of myrrh to give;

God has come to earth that all mankind may live.

The Golden Star

The camels moving pace by stately pace

Move through the sleeping town

To where beyond the realms of time and space

The golden star looks down.

A hundred shuttered windows stand ajar

And curious faces peer.

The travellers set their course to where afar,

The golden star stands clear.

The steady footsteps fade towards the west

Out through the desert gates

Long miles ahead where child and mother rest

The golden star awaits.

So, traveller, as you walk the darkling road

And lights dim one by one,

Look up, where once as Eastern princes showed

The golden star shines on.

Starry Night

It was on a starry night when the hills were bright

Earth lay sleeping, sleeping calm and still.

Then in a cattle shed, in a manger bed

a boy was born, king of all the world.

And all the angels sang for him, the bells of heaven rang for him, for a boy was born, king of all the world.

Soon the shepherds came that way where the baby lay

and were kneeling, kneeling by his side.

And their hearts believed again for the peace of men,

for a boy was born, king of all the world.

And all the angels sang for him, the bells of heaven rang for him, for a boy was born, king of all the world. And all the angels sang for him, the bells of heaven rang for him, for a boy was born, king of all the world.

Oh Come all ye Faithfull

O come, all ye faithful, Joyful and triumphant,

O come ye, O come ye to Bethlehem;Come and behold him,

Born the King of angels;

O come, let us adore him,O come, let us adore him,O Come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

God of God, Light of Light,

Lo! He abhors not the Virgin's womb:

Very God,Begotten, not created;

O come, let us adore him,

O come, let us adore him,

O Come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

See how the shepherds, Summoned to his cradle,

Leaving their flocks, draw nigh to gaze;

We too will thitherBend our joyful footsteps;

O come, let us adore him,

O come, let us adore him,

O Come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

Sing, choirs of angels, Sing in exultation,

Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above;Glory to God

In the highest;

O come, let us adore him,

O come, let us adore him,

O Come, let us adore him, Christ the Lord.

I Wonder as I wander

I wonder as I wander out under the sky

How Jesus the Saviour did come for to die

For poor on'ry people like you and like I;

I wonder as I wander out under the sky

When Mary bore Jesus 'twas in a cow's stall

With wise men and farmers and shepherds and all

But high from God's heaven, a star's light did fall

And the promise of ages it then did recall.

If Jesus had wanted for any wee thing

A star in the sky or a bird on the wing

Or all of God's Angels in heaven to sing

He surely could have it, 'cause he was the King

When A Child is Born

A ray of hope flickers in the sky A tiny star lights up way up high All across the land, dawns a brand new morn This comes to pass when a child is born

A silent wish sails the seven seas The winds of change whisper in the trees And the walls of doubt crumble, tossed and torn This comes to pass when a child is born

A rosy hue settles all around You've got the feel you're on solid ground For a spell or two, no-one seems forlorn This comes to pass when a child is born

And all of this happens because the world is waiting, waiting for one child Black, white, yellow, no-one knows But a child that will grow up and turn tears to laughter, hate to love, war to peace and everyone to everyone's neighbour And misery and suffering will be words to be forgotten, forever

It's all a dream, an illusion now It must come true, sometime soon somehow

All across the land, dawns a brand new morn This comes to pass when a child is born

Winter Wonderland

Sleigh bells ring, are you listening, In the lane, snow is glisteningA beautiful sight,We're happy tonight.Walking in a winter wonderland.

Gone away is the bluebird,Here to stay is a new birdHe sings a love song,As we go along,Walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,Then pretend that he is Parson Brown

He'll say: Are you married? We'll say: No man, But you can do the jobWhen you're in town.

Later on, we'll conspire,As we dream by the fireTo face unafraid, The plans that we've made,Walking in a winter wonderland.

In the meadow we can build a snowman,And pretend that he's a circus clownWe'll have lots of fun with mister snowman,Until the other kids knock him down.

When it snows, ain't it thrilling,Though your nose gets a chillingWe'll frolic and play, the Eskimo way,Walking in a winter wonderland.

Jingle Bells

Dashing through the snowIn a one horse open sleigh

O'er the fields we goLaughing all the way

Bells on bob tails ringMaking spirits bright

What fun it is to laugh and singA sleighing song tonight

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bellsJingle all the way

Oh, what fun it is to rideIn a one horse open sleigh

Jingle bells, jingle bellsJingle all the way

Oh, what fun it is to rideIn a one horse open sleigh

Chestnuts Roasting

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire,

Jack Frost nipping on your nose,

Yuletide carols being sung by a choir,

And folks dressed up like Eskimos.

Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe, Help to make the season bright. Tiny tots with their eyes all aglow, Will find it hard to sleep tonight.

They know that Santa's on his way; He's loaded lots of toys and goodies on his sleigh. And every mother's child is going to spy, To see if reindeer really know how to fly.

And so I'm offering this simple phrase,

To kids from one to ninety-two,

Although its been said many times, many ways,

A Merry Christmas to you

Santa Claus is Coming to Town

You better watch out You better not cry

Better not pout I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming to town He's making a list

And checking it twice; Gonna find out

Who's naughty and nice Santa Claus is coming to town

He sees you when you're sleeping He knows when you're awake

He knows if you've been bad or good So be good for goodness sake!

O! You better watch out! You better not cry

Better not pout I'm telling you why

Santa Claus is coming, Santa Claus is coming,Santa Claus is coming to town
