yacht | interior | productA shuttle yacht is a new function for the luxury yachting wor-ld. It creates a service for luxury hotels around the world which may offer its clients that maximum hospitality and client-servi-ce even before they arrive to their final destination. Other than transport, this service would be a means of leisure and fun du-ring their stay. This yacht, sponsered by Monte Carlo Yachts, is refurbushed to accomodate the tastes of Likuliku Resort, in Fiji. Soft, neutral colours allow the interiors to be suitable for a variety of prefe-rences. It combines well the various activities that can happen onboard - excursions, dinners, aperitivos and charter servi-ces. It meets the resort’s philosophy and mission and adapts to its natural and beautiful environment.

yacht | interior | productA proposal for a health club is created to accompany the already existing “princess 66 cruise ship” with a design that expresses luxury, tranquility and harmony. Following the research about the general philosophy of a wellness and spa centre, this design looks after the well-being of the passengers onboard but also it promotes maximum possible revenue to the entire ship.
The dedicated space is thought of as a single unit contatining diff erent activities. The layout is open leaving a more visual division of the spaces. The activities and various sections have been organised according to their acoustical need, for instance, more intimate and quieter zones opposed to more communal ones.

a promotion of “barilla” products is held in a 16th century, milanese villa. the project implements barilla’s philosophy: “cooking and dining are traditions and require the whole family to take part in”. the visitors of the event should experience a perfect Sunday, family day. With a subtle contrast to the scenery of Villa Arconati, the project is the focus of the visitors, and it makes the villa act as a background to the event. In this particular case, the unnatural becomes organic whilst nature becomes artificial. With aligning a pathway in a colbolt-blue colour, the public of the event is guided on a specific journey that children and adults alike can enjoy. The activities, like ingredient picking, cooking and dining, are a whole-day event with the possibility to visit one villa that is not accessible to the public year round.

The barriers that these blue sticks create are meant to inspire and awake the other senses like - sound, touch and smell. These barriers also act like an obscurer to the background. These aspects are important for this event because they promote cooking and it’s principal rule - cooking is a feeling, not a chore. It takes more than just to read the ingredients and steps in order to know how to prepare a dish.

yacht | interior | productThis project was treated as if a real project for a client; the client being Milan Suite Hotel, part of the Planetaria chain. during sessions with the “client”, the message is to attract visitors to this area of the outskirts and make it a post-Expo venue. The scope is to reform a previous garage space into a restaurant. upon the client’s suggestion to our specific project, an innovation to the way people interact in public spaces was evolved. It involves the layout, design and technology but with an old-school and grounded ‘touch’. the objective of this project is to combine the classic milanese lifestyle - meeting new people and spending time with loved ones are simutaneously important whilst pulling people away from the typical aperitivo zones.

this is my bachelor thesis project which involves a new space constructed for a restaurant. the structure is a new space inten-ded for a restaurant that needs to be furbished. due to its ideal position, located over open water, japanese cuisine seemed to be a solution. researching and discovering more of japanese history, lifestyle, traditions and habits, this project leads into the depths of fung shui, harmonic colours and atmosphere, “emiratei” class and a result of true japanese essence.

In this project, the reception, dining, lounge, bar and outdoor areas are completely separated, allowing a commitment to be made for the activity being done. In addition, the spaces are divided based on the amount of interaction that would take place. larger seats, placed without division, is for a more casual, interactual night whist the divided tables are more intimate. The general design is based on japanese design and feng shui philosophy. The furniture, layout and simulation of materials result in a mixture of serenity, balance and easygoing atmosphere in the space.

I am someone who always knew what she wanted to do in her life - design. having that said, i left home at a young age in 2010 to pursue this lifelong dream. and...I fell in love with it. Throughout the various educational steps that I went through, and due to my background, I thougt it would be interesting to mix my knowledge of the design world with that of my upbringing in the luxurious city of Abu Dhabi. So, I cam about yacht design. Design needs to be a statement to something much bigger than itself. It needs to look onto our furture and its needs. my philosophy is that to-day’s design needs to be tomorrow’s reality. Since we are running low on so many resources and natural materials are becoming scarce, it makes logical sense to provide helpful products for our tomorrow. however, putting the functionality of my philosophy aside, I believe that design has to have an impact on its viewer - a grand impact. The observer should leave the visited space with not only an adjective to describe it, but an emo-tion. I am someone who does not back down from a problem and does not only look for an ‘easy’ way but the right way. Throughout the years, I have worked both individually on projects as well as in groups and teams. Based on my previous working experiences, I believe that I can adapt to sur-roundings and environments with ease. I stand out as a person in a crowd and that is what my style is - loud and noticeble.
I am creative in many other ways too. from reading and writing, to dancing and painting, I combine it all. In the past, these features have proven to be of benefit throughout the numerous projects that i have done and have helped with many concepts and details. I believe that all artistic forms are crucial to a designer and may influence and inspire masterpieces.
