Day 1 & 2: November 13 & 14, 2019 ‐ USA to the Holy LandYour spiritual pilgrimage begins as you depart the USA on an overnightflight. You will be welcomed to the Holy Land by our airportrepresentative and transferred to your Bethlehem hotel. Enjoy dinnerbefore retiring for the night.

Day 3: November 15, 2019 ‐ Bethlehem, Bethany & Ein KaremIn Bethlehem, visit the cave revered as Jesus’ birthplace which nowresides in the world’s oldest functioning church (Matt. 1:18‐25). Gazeout over Shepherds’ Field where the angels first proclaimed the GoodNews. Visit Bethany, the home of Lazarus, Mary and Martha. HereJesus visited on several occasions, and raised Lazarus from the dead(John 11). Travel to Ein Karem, the village where John the Baptist wasborn and Mary visited Elisabeth prior to our Lord’s birth (Luke 1:26‐40).

Day 4: November 16, 2019 ‐ Jericho, Qumran, Masada & the Dead SeaHead to Jericho to visit the ruins of the ancient city Joshua conquered(Josh. 6:20). Off in the distance, you can see the traditional site of theTemptation of Jesus (Matt. 4:1). Stop in Qumran, where the Dead SeaScrolls were discovered in 1947 by a Bedouin shepherd. Enjoy a visit toMasada, the spectacular mountaintop fortress built by Herod that laterbecame the final tragic stronghold of the Jewish rebellion against theRomans. Ride the cable car to the top to explore the fortress and lookdown upon the remains of the Roman camps and siege ramp below.On the way to Jerusalem, stop at the shores of the Dead Sea, thelowest spot on earth, for an opportunity to take a quick dip in themineral‐laden waters.

Day 5: November 17, 2019 ‐ Cana, Nazareth & Mount of PrecipiceVisit the Wedding Chapel at Cana, site of Jesus’ first miracle as Hechanged water into wine (John 2). Continue on to Nazareth, Jesus’boyhood home (Matthew 2:23). Stand atop the Mount of Precipice,where Luke describes how Jesus was rejected by those in thesynagogue after He taught them. Filled with anger they “led Him untothe brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might castHim down headlong” (Luke 4: 29). Continue north to take in the viewatop Mount Arbel overlooking the Sea of Galilee and its many coastaltowns and villages. Continue to Tiberias for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: November 18, 2019 ‐ The GalileeEnjoy beautiful Capernaum, the center of Jesus’ ministry, and visit thesynagogue located on the site where Jesus taught (Matt.4:13, 23). Sailacross the Sea of Galilee, reflecting on the gospel stories of Jesuscalming of the storm. Listen to Jesus’s words from His Sermon on theMount at the Mount of Beatitudes (Matt. 5‐7). At Tabgha, traditionallocation of the feeding of the 5,000, explore the Church of the Fish andthe Loaves (Luke 9:10‐17). Take a moment to reflect and pray in theChapel of the Primacy, where Peter professed his devotion to the risenChrist (John 21). In Magdala, once home to Mary Magdalene, visit arecently discovered first‐century synagogue.

Day 7: November 19, 2019 ‐ Mt. Carmel, Tel Megiddo & CaesareaJourney to Mount Carmel where Elijah defeated the prophets of Baal(1 Kings 18). Biblically, Mount Carmel is referenced most often as a

symbol of beauty and fertility. To be given the “splendor of Carmel”was to be blessed indeed (Isa 35:2). Follow an ancient caravan routethrough the Jezreel Valley to Tel Megiddo, an exciting archeologicaldig with layers of twenty different cities, all built on top of each other.Visit the Roman aqueduct and theatre at Caesarea, a center of the earlyChristians where Paul was imprisoned for two years. Here, an angelvisited Cornelius, the first Gentile convert (Acts 10); and Paul wasimprisoned for two years (Acts 23: 33). Continue to Jerusalem whereyou will check into your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: November 20, 2019 ‐ JerusalemBe inspired by the breathtaking beauty of Jerusalem (“the GoldenCity”) as you stand on the Mount of Olives, the place from which Jesusascended into heaven forty days after His resurrection (Acts 1:9‐12).Walk the Palm Sunday Road stopping briefly at the Tear shapedDominus Flevit Church where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Pray in theGarden of Gethsemane where Jesus prayed before His crucifixion(Matt. 26:36‐44). On Mount Zion, see the House of the High PriestCaiaphas, where Jesus was imprisoned the night of His arrest (Matt.26:57‐65). Nearby is the Upper Room revered as the location of the LastSupper (Mark 14:12‐26).

Day 9: November 21, 2019 ‐ Jerusalem & the Old CityTake time to pray at the Western Wall, all that remains of Herod’sTemple. Sit on the Teaching Steps where Jesus once taught. Take aleisurely stroll down the Cardo, the main street of the Old City wheremodern shops stand between ancient ones. View the Pool of Bethesda,where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle of healing (John 5:1‐31),and sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne, renowned for its beautifulacoustics. At Herod’s Antonia Fortress, see where Jesus was broughtbefore Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1‐11). Walk the Via Dolorosa, “the Way ofthe Cross,” and visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Remember theresurrection of Christ as you celebrate communion at the Garden Tomb.

Day 10: November 22, 2019 ‐ Depart on the Wonders of Petra Post Touror Return Home Forever Changed

ACCOMMODATIONS: Price is per person based on double occupancy. When available, single rooms are often smaller than doubles.While we will try to match roommates, we cannot guarantee a roommate will be available. Roommates may beassigned as late as 30 days prior to departure and, if one is not available or you request a single room, the chargeis $598 for the basic tour. Call for single room pricing on extensions.REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED AFTER 8/1/19:We welcome registrations after 8/1/19. Registrations received between 7/31/19 - 8/15/19 will incur a $100 perperson fee. Registrations received between 8/16/19 - 8/31/19 will incur a $200 per person fee. Registrationsreceived after 8/31/19 will incur an additional fee based on air availability. Additional fees will be advised uponregistration. CANCELLATION FEES: 100% of Cancellation Fees are covered by the optional Travel Protection Program, provided premium has beenpaid and reason for cancellation is coverable. Those who do not take travel protection should be aware of thefollowing cancellation penalties: From day of registration to 105 days prior to departure, you will be charged the$100 non-refundable administrative fee plus any airline fees. Additionally, thereafter, you will be charged any airlinepenalties and a single room supplement if your cancellation forces your roommate into a single plus the followingcharges: 104-60 days = $400; 59-45 days = $600; 44-31 days = 40% of total cost; 30 days to day of departure =100% of total cost. Submit cancellation in writing. On or after day of departure, there will be no refund for any servicesnot used. FIT TO TRAVEL STATEMENT:Passengers registering for the tour accept the responsibility for being in good health and able to walk andtravel on the tour. Because many of the sites are not accessible to the physically challenged, those needingoxygen, wheelchairs, or other ambulatory assistance will find the tour limiting to their experiences.
