That’s why JMG Cranes are so versatile and customized versions are still an important percentage of the manufacturing: the R&D Department studies tailor made solutions to support customers who have special requirements and options like radio remote control, forks or man basket are available on every model. From the frame to the choice of only fi rst class the components, from the high quality painting, to the electronic devices, customers purchasing a JMG Cranes are aware their choice makes the difference.Since its foundation, facilities have doubled and in early 2013, a new manufacturing building has been opened to face the growing demand. JMG Cranes, the power of compactness.
Pick and Carry Cranes are mobile cranes with no outriggers and are designed to lift the load and carry it to its destination.They can be a valid alternative to traditional forklifts but, in some cases, they can also avoid the use of heavy lifting cranes, simply reaching the load very close.Thanks to their reduced dimensions, small radius and light weights, these cranes are perfect to be used even in clean environments.Compared to the most common equipments on the market, like telehandlers or equivalent in capacity forklift trucks, big cranes or carry deck cranes, there is always an advantage in using a pick and carry electric crane. Pick and Carry cranes have displaced the work usually completed by smaller truck cranes as the set up time is much quicker, cheaper more safety.The JMG Pick and Carry Cranes capacity range is 2 to 100 tonnes maximum lift, like no one in the market.Battery powered, they are very agile, and versatility is granted by options like forks, winch, jibs, man basket.

JMG Cranes chose the policy of TRANSPARENCY. JMG Cranes chose to provide the load charts of its cranes from the front of the machines unlike other manufacturers calculating the capacity from the centre of the front wheel. When the operator is about to move a load, he compares the size of the load with the distance of the hook from the front of the machine, therefore what can be read on the load chart is the real performance of the machine. Comparing load charts putting the zero in the centre of the front wheel with load charts having it in the front of the crane can cause erroneous evaluation. Therefore we advise to compare the charts of the different manufacturers and models taking the zero from the same point of the crane.
The transmission system chosen by JMG always allows the full safety control of the crane. The twin motor traction on the front wheels enables the crane to move and steer in any load condition. Paradoxically, the operator could drive the machine even with the rear axle raised off the ground.
From the MC85 model,a proportional telescopic boom, which is a JMG patent, is provided. The proportional exit is the optimal solution for the load distribution on the boom and allows to increase the residual capacity. Sections are pentagonal shaped to allow a better sliding and increase the boom stiffness. The range of booms offered by JMG has unique features in comparison with the ones offered by competitors: the angle of inclination has a range which varies from a maximum of + 60 ° to a minimum of -15 °, it also has in general one more extension element than the other manufacturers.
The cabin offers a modern design, great visibility and an intuitive and functional interface. The high monitor brightness allows a clear and immediate view of all the information about the status of the crane and working conditions. The multifunction joystick allows to control all the lifting operations with just one hand. A greater protection of the operator, without limiting his interaction with the outside, is allowed by a door that can be opened also just on the top. The cabin is equipped with all the extras needed to make it comfortable and safe, such as comfortable seat, toolbox, grid document holder, light, wiper washer, shatterproof glass, protective grid.
Quick & easy to fi xAll the machines and their accessories are designed to ensure the maximum versatility and simplicity of utilization. Just a few simple operations can transform the mobile crane into a telehandler or an elevating work platform.
Counter rotation and steering The rear steering axle of 180°, front wheels simultaneously driven in opposite direction, and the compact overall size give excellent manoeuvrability in narrow spaces and in extreme conditions of load.
BrakeAll JMG mobile cranes are equipped with service and parking brakes, on the front axle in the models up to MC110 and on both axles for the models with higher capacity. Thanks to these devices, the crane can work in safety conditions even in critical conditions. The cranes are equipped with a safety brake stopping the crane when the operator leaves the driver seat.

To make battery virtually maintenance free, we recommend installing an automatic battery watering system. Accidental overfi lling, acid overfl ow and element corrosion are eliminated.
The HF on board battery charger has been designed to provide reliable and quality charging for batteries. On board chargers were originally requested by rental companies, but many customers like the advantage of having it as part of the crane.
Non-marking white wheels are particularly suitable for indoor applications (pharmaceutical, food and chemical industries) in which damage of the fl oor needs to be avoided. The performance characteristics of these tyres are the same as their black counterparts in terms of good traction, low rolling resistance, low heat build up, optimum tread life and full load carrying capacity.
Winch is useful when there is an obstruction between the load and the crane or when it’s necessary to lift vertically and for a long while. The overall lifting capacity depends on the number of rope lines. Under request, winch can be fully remote controlled.
Mechanical JibThe 3-position manually tilting mechanical jib can be tailor studied according to the needs of the customer in terms of capacity and lengths.
Hydraulic JibJMG Cranes can provide hydraulically tilting jibs with various capacity and length to meet the needs of customers. The movements can be done from the cabin or by the remote control.
Mechanical extensionsMechanical extensions of any dimension, tailor studied, are available to be assembled both on mechanical and hydraulic jibs.

Simultaneous operations
LMI system (load moment indicator) is a device preventing the machine tipping. Designed to comply with the latest European safety standards, it is also equipped with a black box that records all the operations and ensures safe working conditions.
The joystick and the offset proportional distributor allow the boom to perform various operations, as lifting, extension and use of the winch, with precision and fl uidity while the crane is moving.

The basket, available for one or two people depending on the model, allows the crane to turn into an elevating work platform. The operator can control all the movements of the crane and of the basket by the radio remote control. The crane is equipped with a safety system that automatically detects when the basket is applied and, complying with current standards, limits the potentially dangerous operations.
Tailor studied on dimensions and capacity, the chain hoist allows to lift huge loads for short displacement.
The robot manipulator is useful to control the movements on 3-axis with precision, positioning is through the use of the remote control and you can simultaneously perform various operations including extension, uplift and re-entry of the boom, traction of the crane and rotation of the manipulator.
Suction cups for sheet lifting can be provided with customizable load capacity. All the operations (including vacuum system activation to fi x the sheet) can be performed by the remote control. The vacuum system can be supplied only with the accessory triaxial manipulator.
Removable counterweights, available on some models, are designed to be assembled and disassembled easily and quickly by pins. They give the customer the opportunity of optimizing the weight of the mobile crane according to the work to be performed. They also allow the optimisation of the costs and time of transport.
Front outriggersFront outriggers, useful when an extra capacity is needed and when there are no space restrictions, can be supplied on some models. The LMI system automatically recognizes the working conditions, in order to work safely.
FlameproofCranes can be adjusted in order to be suitable for use in Hazardous Locations. These versions are available under request for any standard and every zone (ATEX, FM, ANSI…).
