PREPARING INSTRUCTIONAL MEDIA

USFs graduation, December 2009

I am the Media Specialist at Adams Middle School in Hillsborough County.

I earned my master’s in December, 2009 in Reading Education.

I am now working toward earning my certificate to satisfy an agreement to earn.

I recently got to go to the FAME conference in Orlando where I got to meet Caroline B. Cooney, M.H. Herlong, Gayle Forman, Margaret Peterson Haddix, Edward Bloor and many more young adult authors. It was amazing!

Prior to working in the Media Center, I was a classroom teacher.

I taught ESE Reading and Language Arts to students in grades 6th through 8th.

I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful girls.

When I’m not reading, I enjoy spending time with my family.

My girls and I doing what we love!

I am looking forward to learning more about preparing instructional media. I am excited about sharing what I learn with my students and fellow educators.
