PREPARATION BEFORE DEATH Why we fear to death? Because we did not prepare for it. We have to remember death,but we should not

desire for death in any distress. But pray to ALLAH in this following word in

exceptional situation: الوفات كانت إذا وتوفني لي خيرا الحيوة كانت ما أحيني اللهم

. لي خيرا O ALLAH,keep me alive so long as there is good in

life but if death is better for me then give death to me.

Always pray to Allah- إال الإله بكلمة حياتنا أخر اللم.الله

DUTIES OF THOSE WHO WITNESS PANGS OF DEATH/SICK PERSON

1-instuct him of kalimah ALLAH-syaitan disguise as family and tell them that the akidah is wrong.-talqin

2-pray for him what is good,the angle will make amin for what you said-good word.

DUTIES UPON AND AFTER THE DEATH

1-close the eyes of the dead and pray for himthe best

2-the body cover temporarily with a clean sheet. 3-manage the janazah as early as you could 4-setle his debt and loan(as quickly as you could) 5-police report,death certificate 6-confirmation by doctor Use the dead own money to manage the

preparation of bath and bury.-buy the necessary things for bathing,shrouding ang burial.after that divide to the wasiyah and inheritance.

WHAT IS PERMISSIBLE FOR THE VISITOR AND RELATIVES

can open the face and kiss Mourn for 3 days-berkabung -father For wife- 4 month and 10 days Pregnant wife-until delivery Preparing food for the family of dead Praising the dead for those who knew he/she

well Compulsory upon relatives on receiving news

BATHING,SHROUDING OF MAYYIT Apparatus needed:sheet,glove,cotton

bud,soap,shampoo,towel,scissor Chemical spice: sidr,kafur,bakhur,hanud,perfume If the dead was killed as martyr-not performed this

step cause they are buried in the clothes they died in.

A male’s body wash by male A female’s body wash by female Husband and wife can wash each other A minor body can wash either man and woman Child below seven-can wash either one man and

woman Man died among women or women died among

men-tayammun only. Muslim should not bath kafir or bury him. use warm water.

1-Observe the aurah while perfoming bath for mayyit2-perfotm cleaning ang istinja’-press stomatch and clean

out by the towel or cloth any excretions that may have resulted by stomath pressing.

3-ensure there is nothing that will prevent reach of water4-then recite bismillah,niat and make wudhu’ for him/she.5-when taking wudhu’- do not pour water in the mouth or

nose,but clean the teeth and mouth with cotton bud or wet cloth.

5-sunnah wash the head with herbal foam,his beard and the whole body

6-start with the right side and back then left and back.7-sunnah wash 3 times,5 times,7 times if neseccary.8-last wash with kafur(scent)9-for woman’ hair-make three or two plait and let it behind

WRAPPING THE BODY-KAFAN 1-men -3 pieces of clean cloth,woman-5

pieces( plus head wrap and chest wrap) 2-seven/five tie-

head,nect,chest,abdoment,foot,kness3-put the cotton,perfume ,on every pieces.4-put hand on chest or beside5-cover with all cutton if can

6-wrap the body from left to right.7-tie at left.it will open after bury.

SOLAT JENAZAH

CARRY AND BURIAL Walk quick not rush Those who follow can walk in front,side and back Makruh to sit until jenazah is put on the ground. Makhruh to bury during prohibited of solat Mayyit can be buried during day and night Sunnah to down load from leg side of grave,if not-from qiblat

side Lahad is better than shaqqa Sunnah to make it deep- 6/7 feet. avoid wild animal and smell Start with bissmillahi wa a’la sunnati rasulullah Download prefarably done by relatives,family and other

muslim. Sunnah to put the mayyit on his right blade facing qiblat. Do not open his/her face except muhrim . Sunnah to raise the grave and put stone on the head part-as

indicate this is a grave and do not disgrace or stamp it. No monument is allowed Assalamualaikum darul kaumin mukminin wa inna insya ALLAH

bikum lahikum.
