What do I know about God?

Jehovah

The name of GodI AM

I am Jehovah, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.“ (Isaiah 42:8)

Note that when a Bible translation has LORD in all caps --it signifies...JEHOVAH

God is I AM

Speaks of God's eternality and life beyond the grave (not "I was" but "I am" implying they still exist)

Lamentations 3:24 (NASB95)24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I have hope in Him.”

Jesus is Jehovah

I AM anything & everything you will ever need.

If this is true then I must make the daily choice to come into His presence, to cry out to Him, to listen to Him and then to trust His guidance.

He always WAS. He always IS. He always WILL BE.

We all need Someone in this life Who will never change.

Jehovah is the same, yesterday, today, and forever.

Remember this when reading the Bible stories in the OT. The same God that parted the Red Sea is here today to help us!
