redesign of two of our most popular machines –

the 535-125 and 535-140. The resulting HiViz

models achieve impressive new levels of visibility,

manoeuvrability and productivity that we are confident

will make them absolutely indispensable in today’s

increasingly space-restricted construction sites.

At the same time the 535-125 HiViz and the 535-140

HiViz retain all of the market-leading features that

made the former machines popular with customers

the world over. So cab comfort, service access, build

quality, reliability, lift height, roading ability, power . . .

these machines still offer the unrivalled levels of

excellence you will find right across the comprehensive

JCB Loadall range.

Not content with producing two of the world’s best-

selling telehandler models, the 535-125 and 535-140,

we have taken these machines and replaced them

with our new, even more innovative HiViz models.

As you would expect on a machine called HiViz,

the major step forward has been in visibility,

particularly the three-quarter view to the rear of

the machine. We have achieved this through a

reduction of 235mm (9.5") in the boom pin pivot

height. Also, an innovative use of materials and

components on the new machines has resulted in

a 13% reduction in overall boom section.

Hand in hand with this 10% increase in all-round

visibility go the additional improvements we have

made to manoeuvrability. These include a more

compact chassis which results in a 90mm reduction in

overhang, and new axles featuring higher lock angles

which improve the turning radius by 250mm.

Together, this added visibility and manoeuvrability

make the 535-125 HiViz and the 535-140 HiViz

easier and speedier to operate and more productive

– particularly in today’s high-density, increasingly

compact construction sites for which they are

specifically designed.

New levels of visibility, manoeuvrability and productivity

But the changes don’t stop there. These machines

also incorporate a new dashboard and control layout

featuring new, easy-to-read instrumentation that

groups all separate analogue dials into a single display

unit. This includes an LCD display which, at the touch

of a button, lets you see machine hours, time to the

next service and the trip distance.

The new instrumentation panel also incorporates

warning lights, including an alert when the stabiliser

legs are down*. Previously positioned away from the

main instrument cluster, the new location of these

lights means the operator only has to check in one

place for machine performance, resulting in a more

ergonomic and productive working environment.

The same world-beating performance as ever

The new 535-125 HiViz and 535-140 HiViz have retained

all the strengths of the telehandlers they replace in the

range. So you’ll find both still offer impressive lift and

height capabilities (3.5 tonnes/12.3 metres and 3.5 tonnes/

13.8 metres respectively). Plus, as on other JCB Loadalls

in this class, the optional JCB sway system is available to

level the machine when traversing gradients, and the

2750mm wheelbase maintains a stable roading platform.

The two models are fitted with JCB Dieselmax engines

– 85hp (63kW) as standard, with 100hp (74.2kW)

optional. These engines drive through a torque convertor

to the standard JCB 4-speed powershift transmission.

At JCB we’re also renowned for our superb operating

environments, and the new HiViz

models are no exception.

Exceptionally roomy with a large glass area, angled roof

bars for good upwards visibility and low noise levels,

these cabs are designed for comfort, safety and easy,

fatigue-free, continuous operation. Low-effort ‘Plus’

pattern hydraulic controls ensure easy and comfortable

machine operation, an eye-level load moment indicator

provides a progressive readout of forward stability and,

for further peace of mind, load hold check valves are

fitted to lift, tilt and extension rams.

In addition, both machines still feature a Q-fit carriage

for rapid attachment interchange; excellent service

access to the side-mounted engine; and proven long-life

structures that keep on producing the goods and

protecting your investment year after year.
