Jazz Combo Leader: Mr Isaacs
What? A small group of instrumentalists and singers who focus on performing pieces in Jazz styles to a high level.
Why? More experienced players can work together to extend their music skills and explore a range of jazz styles.
Develop more advanced improvisation skills.
To compete in the National Youth Jazz Competition (April) in Tauranga and the NZ School of Music Jazz Project (July) in Wellington.
Who? At least one drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboard/pianist, singer, saxophones, trumpet.
When and Where? Wednesday lunchtimes, 1:30 – 2:15pm in S5.
