Hi, Im Jacob Perry from Troop 860 in Vernonia. Im here to present my Eagle Scout

Project to you and ask for your help and participation.

What is it I am sponsoring a Free Exchange. A free exchange is where everyone brings

items they dont use, dont need, or dont want., then you can look around and take

stuff home you can use, need or wantALL AT NO COST. All items are donated and all

items are available to anyonewith NO MONEY EXCHANGEDTHATs why its called a

FREE EXCHANGE.

When is it August 27th at the New Forest Grove Stake Center. Item DROP-OFF starts at

7:30AM. Browsing starts at 11AM and goes til 6PM. You can still bring donated items

after 11AM, but if you bring them early, this gives time for sorting and displaying in

Departments like Girls Clothing, Small appliances or Tools.

What you can bring Anything except Tires, Paint/Chemicals or furniture with holes in it

or large appliances like stoves or refrigerators. Please do not bring broken items or items

you wouldnt take home yourself. All items should be in gently used or new condition.

Please bring Used Clothing, Kitchen Items, Garage Items, even small appliances. All items

not taken will be donated to Deseret Industries.

Why am I Sponsoring a Free Exchange Because I want to help. With the Economy

issues, Unemployment issues and Natural Disaster issues weve all seen on the News, this

may be the little bit of help that someone needs. I saw this Free Exchange idea work in

the Vernonia Branch in 2007 after a flood occurred. It helped many! I thought Id take it

on a Grand Scale.LDS STYLE and invite the entire Forest Grove Stake. Bring your

neighbors and friends as a missionary tool.

How can you help

1st

Clean out your Closets, Dresser Drawers and Garages. Save them til August 27th

.

2nd

Bring your items and donate them.

3rd

Browse and find something you like & take it home.

4th

Plan to stay for a few hours and help out if possible. Help sort thru some items, help

load something or help with cleanup at 6pm.
