Row 13: work the sts as they are Row 15: p4, * p1, slip 1, k1, pass slipped st over, k4, k2 tog. p5 *, rep. from * to *. Row 17: p4, * p1, slip 1, k1, pass slipped st over, k2, k2 tog. p5 *, rep. from * to *. Row 19: p4, * p1, slip 1, k1, pass slipped st over, k2 tog. p5 *, rep. from * to *. WORKING INSTRUCTIONS Back: with knitting needles no. 51/2 and with the Zaf.ro yarn cast on 90 (94-98) sts. and work in knitted st until work measures10 cm., to shape the sides decr. at the ends, inside 5 sts, 1 st every 4 rows 5 times; when work measures 22 (23-24) cm. incr. at the ends 1 st every 2 rows twice. When work measures 25 (26-27) cm., to shape the sleeve holes decr. at the ends, inside 2 sts, 1 st every 4 rows 3 times, 1 st every 2 rows 4 times. When work measures 13 (14-15) cm. from beg. of sleeve holes, to shape the neckline cross off the 26 (28-30) centre sts and end the two parts separately. When work measures 2 cm. from the neckline cross off the 22 (23-24) remaining sts for each shoulder. Right front: with knitting needles no. 51/2 and with the Zaf.ro yarn cast on 90 (94-98) sts. and work in knitted st. On the right of work, for the neckline decr., inside 1 st, 1 st every 2 rows 55 (58-61) times, 1 st every 4 rows twice. At the same time, on the left of work shape the side in the same way as back. When work measures 25 (26-27) cm., for the sleeve hole decr. on the left of work, inside 2 sts, 1 st every 4 rows 3 times, 1 st every 2 rows 5 times. When work measures 15 (16-17) cm. from the beg. of sleeve hole, cross off the 22 (23-24) remaining sts for the shoulder. Left front: work to match right front. Sleeves: with knitting needles no. 51/2 and with the Zaf.ro yarn cast on 46 (48-50) sts. and work in knitted st. At the ends incr. 1 st every 10 rows 8 times, 1 st every 8 rows 4 times. When work measures 39 (41-43) cm., to shape the sleeve holes cross off at the ends, every 2 rows, 3 sts 7 times, 2 sts. When work measures 5 cm. from beg. of sleeve holes cross off the 24 (26-28) remaining sts. Border of neckline: with knitting needles no. 4 and with the Primula yarn cast on 312 (326-340) sts. and work in petal st. Work 22 rows, equal to a total of 6.5 cm., then bind off all the remaining sts. Buttoning straps: with the crochet hook cast on a 6 st chain stitch, and from the 2nd ch on hook, work in double crochet. When work measures 50 cm. break off and bind the yarn. Make 2 identical straps. MAKING UP AND FINISHING Sew on the shoulders and the sides. Join and mount the sleeves. Join the border, and the crossed side, along the neckline of the right front, along the back neckline and along the neckline of the left front for just 2 cm. and even off the two sizes; sew on border leaving right of work it on the inside (so that when you turn it, the knitted pattern is on the outside). Join the laces at the base of the neckline of each front.
