Characteristics

The roadrunner is a bird with 2 long legs, a long tail. On its feet there are 2 toes pointing forward and 2 toes pointing backwards. The roadrunner is a blue and brown color with striped patterning. The roadrunner stands about 2 feet tall.

Habitat

The roadrunner lives in the desert of hot states and also it lives in the grasslands.

Diet

The roadrunner eats insects, fruit, seeds, small reptiles, snakes, small mammals, spiders, scorpions, centipedes, millipedes, mice and small birds.

It can run 15 miles per hour.
