WELCOMEWelcome to a new era of transportation. Welcome, to BALL. For those of you who haven’t heard of us before, we made this little brochure. In less than twenty pages, we are going to change your life for-ever. Nothing will ever be far away again. Distance is dead.

In 1604, the first railway was built. In 1893, the first car was manu- factured. On the first of January, 1904, the very first commercial flight with an airplane took off and stumped the whole world. All these types of transportation were big gamechangers and couldn’t be missed in our lives. In 2023, we are going to do the exact same thing with BALL. Amaze the whole world and change it forever.

If this brochure doesn’t answer all of your questions, feel free to visit www.ball.com or mail us.

HOW DOES IT WORK? The tubes are vacuum which gives us the ability to reach speeds up to 8000 kilo- metres per hour. The air is permanently removed from the two-way tubes that are built to each destination. Airlocks at stations allow transfer of a BALL without admitting any air. Lineair electric motors accelerate your BALL, which then coast through the vacuum for the remainder of the trip without using any additional power. That way it can keep going for the next ride. The energy is regenerated as the capsules slow down. That’s why BALL can provide fifty times more transpor-tation per kWh than any electric car or train on earth.

What is BALL Yes, it is completely safe. With the use of frictionless Maglev the BALL is fully under control by our artificial intelligence called Jarvis. It can scan your healthstatus, help you to pick a movie or music during your trip and will assist you if needed.

IS IT EXPENSIVE? No, it isn’t. We build new freeways and new railways every day. But the glass tubes can be built for only 1/10th of the price of a High Speed Rail and 1/4th the cost of a regular freeway. There leaves a BALL every 60 seconds so a lot of people can use our services.

Big companies will give you a preview of their products before you leave the station which makes it easier for us to keep the prices low. That way, a year subscription for BALL will be cheaper than an oversea flight.

BOOK A BALLPASS The first thing to do is book your personal BALLpass. There are multiple ways to do this. You can buy a ticket at your preferred station. To be sure of your departure we strongly suggest you order a ticket with the BALL application or through www.ball.com, our website. Your pass will be transferred to your phone or tablet through Passbook. If you don’t have a tablet or smart-phone, we offer a paper ticket for a small extra cost. This will be sent to your address through the mail.

SCAN YOUR PASS At the station, you go through security with your luggage. One of our employees will scan your personal BALLpass and your luggage in a swift second. You keep your luggage with you until you enter the BALL. Our employee will place your luggage in the BALL before your departure. That way, you know that nothing will be lost during your trip. We ask to only bring one piece of luggage up to 20 kilograms and one piece of carry-on.

THINGS TO DO At BALL, our biggest concern is to bring our customers as fast as possible to their des-tination. We guarantee safety if the regulations are followed. During the trip, you can do a lot of things in the BALL. As said before, our A.I. Jarvis is always online to help you make the trip as comfortable as possible. We have a library of 10 000 movies and up to 50 000 hours of music for you to enjoy. Just talk to Jarvis and he will help you out right away. There are tablets between the seats with a superfast internet connection, it is forbidden to take these out of the BALL. We allow phones, handhelds and porta-bles during the trip. Every seat also has its own pair of headphones for you to use.

For your own safety, it is important to follow our security regulations. It is for-bidden to smoke in the BALL. If Jarvis detects smoke, your BALL will be let off at the first emergency exit. It is also forbidden to walk around during the trip. We move at high speed and it isn’t safe to walk around. We ask to stay in your seat and keep your seatbelt buckled until you stop at your destination. Drugs, including alcohol, are also strictly forbidden in the BALL. Jarvis can detect your bloodpressure and health. Drugs brings a boost to your body which will trigger the emergency system.

DESTINATIONS AND DIRECTIONSTHE CLOCK To make everything as clear as possible for our customers, we turned our logo into a clock. This clock shows you how long it takes to travel from one place to another. A full clock takes three hours, the number in the middle will tell you how many minutes your destination is away from you. The app we made specially for your phone or tablet will also have an animated clock that tells you when your personal BALL arrives at the station.

THE ICONS Every destination also has its own icon which will guide you at the stations to your terminal. These icons all have their own characteristics and identity. You will see them on the boarding displays as pictured above. They will be on the floor through the stations and on the BALL too. Personell will have these specific icons on their uniforms. That way, our customers know exactly who they have to contact for information or help.
