For Lehi City Council Consideration At 12/11/2012 Council Meeting From: Planning and Zoning

ISSUE Xactware - Requests approval of a road name change from Morning Glory Road to Morning Vista Road located in the Traverse Mountain Area Plan.

BACKGROUND Xactware is requesting a name change from Morning Glory Road to Morning Vista Road located at Traverse Mountain to fit with their International Corporate image. There are no existing homes or businesses that address off of the existing Morning Glory Road, so the name change would not require anyone to change their address. RECOMMENDATION

The DRC reviewed this request on November 14, 2012 and made the following recommendation. DRC REDLINE COMMENTS: 1. Applicant would be responsible for the cost of the signs and installation. 2. The applicant should coordinate with UDOT about the sign at Timpanogos Highway. 3. The DRC is favorable of this request because there are no existing buildings addressed on Morning Glory. Planning Commission was not required to review this request.

A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE NAME FROM MORNING GLORY ROAD TO MORNING VISTA ROAD LOCATED IN THE TRAVERSE MOUNTAIN AREA

PLAN.

WHEREAS, Xactware is requesting a name change from Morning Glory Road to Morning Vista Road located at Travers Mountain in order to fit with their International Corporate image; and

WHEREAS, there are no existing homes or businesses that address off the existing

Morning Glory Road that would require re-addressing. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Municipal Council of Lehi City, Utah, that
