The ISO certificates are provided by International Organization for Standardization. There are a series of certificates. The organization was founded back in 1947. From there on in, many edition of ISO documents have released. Among them, only iso9001 requires a certification process. It is more formally known as ISO 9001:2008.
The certification is a part of quality management system that the businesses must follow to satisfy their customers. It will not only improve the responses regarding the customers, but also their sales as the customers will find the companies more reliable than ever. As the representative of any organization, one must familiarize himself with the ISO 9001. There are tutorials and papers explaining the needs, process of obtaining and things to do once one has the certification done. It is the most primary requirement for anybody or any organization.
Secondly, an organization should have a GAP analysis done. For that, Gap analogy needs to be understood. The checklist of GAP analysis should be completed. Third step is to completely prepare the project planning section to attain the certificate without really failing. You need to prepare the workbook, step by step action and guide the team accordingly.
The fourth initiative is to train the individuals about the process and how to attain the iso9001 certificate. Keep your employees known about the scenario. Put your system and the infrastructure on paper in writing terms for the auditing member to understand. The sixth thing to do here is to implement the QMS of the ISO 9001 in the organization one represents.
The seventh thing to do for iso9001 certification is to go for internal auditing. One needs trained auditors for the job. It is best if an organization trains auditors regarding the job and always keeps a corrective or preventive task panel around for the mistakes, it is the best measure.
