Identify labour market needs.Determine the purpose of the learnershipEstablish partnerships & develop capacity.Analyse the employment context.Establish a qualification pathway.



Identify the existence of a qualification; if there are none:

Develop qualifications through SAQA processes,

Ensure registration of qualifications on NQF.

Learnership ProcessLearnership Process

Each proposal is handled as a discrete project.

A check is made to see if the proposal resembles others in progress.

If it is unique then it is assessed as a project and managed by a project manager.

SETA involvement is essential from start
