Players/Government/ High cyberspace council• Provision
• The state has Key Roles as policymaker, regulator, provider and developer of key infrastructure and as well as service users.
• IoT should play main role to promote the Social Welfare and SocialEquality
• To increase national productivity and efficiency • IoT is entirely and exclusively based on the platform of the National
Information Network.• IoT service providers Should Be Hosted In Iran or the area where Iran's
sovereignty is possible• Data aggregated from people and things (in the macro data format) are
as National Assets.• All ministries have been ordered to prepare their plans in IoT within 6
months
National cyberspace Center
• Strategic Plan and Roadmap of IoT,
• Manage national Macroeconomic plans,
• To Identify the strengths and threats of the development of the IoT in the country,
• Identifying rolls and responsibility of all stakeholders and actors in the government sector, Non-governmental and public,
• Identify and select priority For national pilot projects
• To develop governance platforms, and facilitating the IoTbusiness environment
• Providing of digital economy
• Supplying the infrastructure needed by the other ministries,
• Smartcity
• Supporting Of Implementation Of 5 Smart Cites in the countries
Ministry of ICT
Ministry of ICT
• To Sign A Mou With Agriculture Ministry To Support It In Using Iot In Agriculture/Irritation/Protection
• To Manage And Reduce Water Wasting At Least Up 35%
• To Increase Of 33% Of Using ICT And New Technologies In The Agricultural Sector And to optimize Useing Of Basic Resources,

BP believes Russia Has only 32.9 tcm,
which would place it in second place, slightly
behind Iran (33.1 to 33.8 tcm, depending on
the source).
Why Natural Gas is important
• Natural gas is the cleanest energy of all fossil fuels
• Mitigate environmental pollution,
• Improve air quality(60-90% less smog pollutant)
• Economical than others
• improve people's quality of life
• Renewable

IRAN Case
• 515000KM Gas pipeline and network • 28 Million gas meters (23 Million in urban area and 5 Million in rural area)• Penetration is more than 80%(• Consumption of 750 million cubic meters daily in Iran.• Government aims to cover gas pipeline network to all
homes• Analog metering• Reading needs to presence• sabotage• Management of consumption in winter
Smart metering advantages for Home• Convenience
• More accurate bills
• More control of energy consumption
• Track the energy usage from anywhere in the house
• More detailed feedback regarding energy use
• Enable consumers to adjust their habits in order to lower Gas bills
• Reduces the number of cut offs and system-wide gas failures especially in the winter
Smart Meters Advantages for Gas Companies
• Eliminate manual monthly meter readings
• Monitors the Gas system much more quickly(real Time)
• Makes it possible to use power resources more efficiently
• Provides real-time data that is useful for balancing gas consumption in winter
• Enables dynamic pricing, which raises or lowers the cost of Gas based on demand
• Avoids the capital expense of building new station
• Help to optimize income with existing resources
Key drivers of I&G Market
• Global IoT in O&G market is anticipated to grow to $30.57 billion by 2026
• Shortage of Skilled labor,
• Increasing number of cyber-attacks,
• Aging infrastructure,
• need to increase operational efficiency

Iran National Gas Company National Plan-Goals• Reduce the meters reading cost(by eliminating references
of readers to the location of meters) .
• Reading the meter automatically and eliminating human error reading
• Balance the Production and Consumption and Export
• simultaneously monitor a large number of connected devices.
• Less Pollution
• Green house and city
• Smart home and smart city
NB-IoT for Smart Gas-Iran
Agriculture
Agriculture challenges in the future
• By 2050 the world’s population will reach 9.1 billion, 34 percent higher than today(FAO)
• Feeding ,water shortages, difficult to manage costs, limited availability of lands, increasing consumption and More Sustainable agriculture, will be a big challenge
• Agriculture has to produce more food, feed, fuel, flowers, etc., with less use of natural resources and with less adverse side effects on the environment and society
IoT technology can play a role key to overcome the IoTcreate smart agriculture for future.
Agriculture sector in Iran
• Agriculture Sector sharing is 10% of GDP of Iran
• The main purpose of using the IoT technologies in the agriculture in Iran is overcome on water shortage,
• Achieve maximum production with minimal amount of water, fertilizer, poison, etc.
• Achieving this requires getting information about the condition of agricultural land and products during the growing season.

WATER CONSUMPTION
Agriculture sector in Iran
• “A smart irrigation plan has been launched in a 60-hectare farm in the southern province of Fars and another project in collaboration with Iran Space Research Center is being implemented in the Moghan plains [in northwestern province of Ardabil].”
• Using satellites for boosting agricultural productivity through monitoring soil and water resources.”
• Saving 20-40% of water consumption in pistachio cultivation
Smart agriculture advantages
• Increase Production• Decrease Water Conservation• Real-Time Data and Production Insight• Lower operation Costs• Increase Quality of Production• Accurate Farm and Field Evaluation• Improve Livestock Farming• Reduce Environmental Footprint• Remote Monitoring• Equipment Monitoring

• The ISRC has adopted a combination of remote and land sensing systems to measure factors such as soil moisture, humidity, barometric pressure, soil and weather temperature, wind speed and orientation and solar radiation over a large cultivated surface. Data are collected by two Earth observation satellites Sentinel-2 and Landsat 8.
Use of Satellites in Farming-Iran Case
in this project, a combination of
remote sensing images and
ground sensors, soil moisture,
air humidity, soil and air
temperature, air pressure, wind
speed and direction, and solar
radiation have been
implemented as pilot in the
Moghan agriculture industry.
Outputs of the project include • Identfiy cropping area• estimated water consumption• leaf area index (indicating the amount of production and the
biomass),• Product's chlorophyll (representing the plant health), the
water content of the plant and the forecast of production before harvesting
• . In the first phase of the project, satellite images of Landsat 8 and Sentinel 2 are used to study agricultural activities.

IoT System Reduces Fish Death Rate at Iran Farm
Some fish breeding in Iran is performed in natural pools filled approximately once a year and then emptied at the end of the breeding season. Because the system relies on natural water that is only replaced annually, the system is economical for fish growers, but requires monitoring to ensure the quality of the water, including not only temperature but toxicity.
Manage water conditions to ensuring the fish's health. The focus Is to automatically measure the water-quality
