Ionia Farmers’ Market Welcomes New Vendors

The Farmers’ Market provides area residents with a host of vendors selling fresh fruits, vegetables,

maple syrup, honey, flowers, fresh baked goods, farm raised / licensed beef and pork, crafts, and

more. Join us as we welcome “ Kevin’s Krunchies” offering dog treats, canine apparel and specialty

gifts. Autumn always inspires us to start baking. Stop by the Market to purchase fresh picked

apples to complete those favorite recipes. To better serve customers, the Market is open each

Wednesday 2pm to 6pm and again on Saturday from 9am to 1pm. Please note: The Farmers’

Market will be closed on Saturday, September 15th for the Tour de Ionia Bike event.

Annual Fall Festival Scheduled for Saturday

Visit Bertha Brock Park on Saturday from 11am to 3pm to experience the excitement of Fall Fest. Vendors, exhibitors, musical entertainment, and special children’s activities will be featured throughout the park. This great annual event has something for every member of your family!

Purple Week Is Underway

See the enclosed flyer detailing the list of great activities happening this week to celebrate Ionia’s

Purple Week! Cheer on the Bulldogs at tonight’s Purple Game and enjoy the fireworks complements

of Paul and Terri Lentz. Do you remember “cruisin’ the downtown when your were younger? If you

would like a trip down memory lane, join the Purple Gang for a Cruise Night on Saturday,

September 29th from 6pm to 9pm. All proceeds from the cruise are directed to the Community

Awareness cause. The movie “Grease” will be shown at the Ionia Theatre that same night beginning

at 9:15pm.
