Introvert  and  Extrovert  Everyone  spends  6me  with  introversion  and  extroversion.  Each  person  has  a  dominant  need  for  more  or  less  of  one  or  the  other  type  of  energy  environment  to  recharge

Introvert  A  shy,  reAcent,  and  typically  self-­‐centered  person.  Reserved.  Timid.

Extrovert  An  outgoing,  overtly  expressive  person.  Sociable,  gregarious,  unreserved,  genial,  affable,  friendly

A  shy  person  may  appear  to  be  introverted  due  to  apprehension,  nervousness  and  anxiety    An  extrovert  may  also  be  shy.    

Introvert  and  Extrovert  Introvert  A  person  who  is  energized  by  being  alone  and  whose  energy  is  drained  by  being  around  other  people.    Extrovert  A  person  who  is  energized  by  being  around  others  socializing.

•  I am seen as “outgoing” or as a “people person.” •  I feel comfortable in groups and like working in

them. •  I have a wide range of friends and know lots of

people. •  I sometimes jump too quickly into an activity and

don’t allow enough time to think it over. •  Before I start a project, I sometimes forget to stop

and get clear on what I want to do and why.
