NGSS First Public Draft Released Friday, May 11Unprecedented to have such widespread involvement of so many states and stakeholders—including classroom teachers—involved in science standards development. NGSS will have a profound influence on curriculum, assessment, and teacher professional development in the years ahead. NSTA encourages all teachers to review the NGSS draft and provide feedback to Achieve by June 1.
