Porticos is a full service product design and development firm

located in Research Triangle Park, NC, providing mechanical

design services.

Porticos specializes in designing medical, consumer electronic,

military, energy and industrial electronic products with an

emphasis on innovative small, rugged and cost effective

designs.

Consumer products provide a challenging mix of durability,

ergonomics and cosmetics. Porticos has extensive experience

integrating hardware, acoustics, antennas, displays and other

Porticos has designed energy systems ranging from fuel cells to

lithium polymer battery packs. Most recently Porticos was

awarded a contract with the Department of Energy to develop

the worlds first energy star rated residential dryer.
