• The Gaggle email service works with any computer connected to the internet and functions with any web browser, such as Internet Explorer, Netscape Navigator, Safari, Mozilla Firefox or the AOL web browser. We recommend you have the java script and cookies options enabled on your web browser. All of the educational controls will be active no matter what computer is used.

friends. It is a wonderful way to get your students excited about their new email accounts, and it is good practice for their writing and communication skills. If a problem with email should arise, the Gaggle system enables the school to hold students accountable. We feel that student email on the Gaggle system is analogous to monitored conversation at lunch time.

• The Gaggle system has many powerful features which allow schools to monitor and control student email. However, no system can be 100% effective. The best method to prevent email problems is to let the students know you have the ability to review the activity in their account at all times.
