1. Blogging – This is the new age way to combine quality written content with interested viewers over theinternet. Basically connecting people over a similar idea or interest which can be very powerful. Bloggingconsists of frequent logs or posts from the blog which are centered around some sort of similar interest. Forexample: Adaptive Incomes is a blog centered around entrepreneurship in the 21st century for anyonelooking to learn about entrepreneurship. It is a blog where information is posted that is found to bevaluable. This information primarily is centered around the idea of entrepreneurship and shared withothers looking to learn and discuss entrepreneurship as well.

Blogging is one of the fastest growing concepts on the web and there are more than 50 million active blogs

out there ranging from every single niche or interest you could think of! Let me tell you that having a blog isdefinitely an eye opening experience in its own. When you work so hard on something and give it dailycare and content you begin to get attached, this is where blogging become a lifestyle more than anactually job or income source which is very desirable to some people who truly understand the potential aconsistent, well put together blog can be.

When it comes to blogging there are a few things you should know about because its not for everyone, butit can be for you if you want it to!

Pros:

Starting a blog is easy, and fun with sites like Blogger, WordPress, and Tumblr. Posting on yourblog is as easy as writing a normal Word doc and posting it

There is also an amazing community around helping people establish/learn about blogs and whatyou can do with them so the external support is really helpful!

A blog gives people MORE of a reason to visit your website. This can really effect the way yourwebsite is perceived. Your business website can be very static (not changing) but if you have a blogyou are able to update content frequently and keep viewers coming back for more!

You can create a community feel when people come to your website, they come to your bloglookingto learn something or discuss something that is going on in recent news. By make it a habitfor people to check your blog and get involved with your updates/posts they are more likely to returnto the site which leads to increased traffic and revenue for your business

Cons:

A blog requires regular updates to be effective. This can be time consuming for who normally don’twrite every single day (including myself but can be overcome with daily habits and consistency)

It must be done professional, this is one outlet of your business if you choose to go this route so youneed to go about it professionally and make sure that it is appropriate for your potential customersto read

Technically issues do arise, and if you are not prepared enough or skilled enough to fix them theycan prove to be rather time consuming!

Blogging is on the move and always growing and changing the game. This is why it is now one of thepopular online business ideas that you can use to start your online entrepreneur career with. Frompersonal experience, blogging give you basically an intro into all different ways of monetization. Monetizinga blog is something to wrap your head around and by starting one you will learn so many ways to monetizeyour blog and find the one that best fits you. 2. Affiliate Marketing – So going over what affiliate marketing is, and more specifically online affiliatemarketing. Affiliate marketing is promoting a product produced by someone else and receiving acommission from the products creator for making that sale! There are so many benefits to this and if youare just starting out in internet entrepreneurship I would highly suggest reading this attentively. Pros:

It is essential performance based marketing, youare only making money if you make a sale. Whichproves beneficial for both sides, the company onlypays for results/sales and not for your attempts.But also the affiliate marketer can use any and allways to generate sales which has unlimitedpossibilities

Very easy to do part-time or as a project for a-littleextra income

You do not need to work with, ship, produce, create, or even touch any products whatsoever. This isthe part that appeals to beginners. You re getting your foot in the door and not having to deal with allthe hard stuff involved in running the business, there is relatively no startup cost and no reoccurringorders to fill or complete. Just promote, generate sales, and get paid (Don’t get me wrong, if it waseasy everyone would do it, it does take skill and there is a learning curve)

You have the ability to work from anywhere and everywhere with an internet connection. Whichprovides a lot of time freedom which is what most affiliate marketers value

Cons:

As stated above, affiliate marketing isn’t necessarily as easy as it sounds. People jump into affiliatemarketing expecting to make quick and easy money but the truth is that there is a skill set thatneeds to be learn

Affiliate marketing is still sales. Which means that you start every new day off with zero. So there isno reoccuring income that you can depend on and it is solely based on how many new product salesyou are bringing in. This can be the killer for some. Yeah you can make $10,000 one month andmake nothing the next and for some that is a scary thing (which goes back to the part-time pro)

Very competitive arena, everyone is looking to do the same thing you are. Sell products

There is a chance that you get involved with a sketchy merchant. They may have a highcommission at first but then they start to lower it and you are not getting what you had previouslythough you were entitled too

A lot of “affiliate marketers” are spammers and scammers, they will do anything and everything forsale and even tarnish the reputation of product s or companies to get a little chunk of commissionwhich ruins the profession entirely

With a lot of affiliate programs shifting and changing, normally when entering this space I recommendAmazon’s affiliate program. Amazon is worldwide e-commerce website that is trusted, respected, andalready used daily by millions and millions of people. This is what I choose as one of many online businessideas and it has proved to be vary versatile because Amazon has nearly everything you can think of on itwhich provides some variety when choosing a specific online business. This does not mean that Amazonis the only good affiliate program out there, there are many companies and products with affiliateprograms. The best way to find them is by scrolling to the very bottom of the web page. You should seesomething in the footer about affiliate program if the company has one. I would also recommend checkingout some reviews on the affiliate program to see what other people are liking and not liking about it.

3. CPA – CPA stands for “Cost per action” This is similar to affiliate marketing accept you never really haveto sell anything. It is getting paid for an action that a possible customer does. This could be filling out aform, signing up for a free trial, sign up for a service, buy a product or get an estimate or quote. This is thelast on the list because from my own opinion it is one that I have had the least experience with. CPA offersare something you really have to experience to develop because the offers and ways of going aboutbusiness are always changing. This being said, there are still many successful CPA marketers out thereand I would love to get your guys opinions and experiences with the CPA marketing industry. Pros:

No sale needs to be made to earn money

Decent payouts for something as simple asfilling out a form

There are many opportunities to takeadvantage of (*see below for more info*)

There are many resources that put you incontact with the right offers

Can be promoted with no cost/no need forpaid advertisement

Cons:

No source of residual income, meaning you have to keep on promoting offers to keep on paying thebills

CPA networks generally get a lot of bad reputation for pushing spam

There are many opportunities that get taken advantage of (*see below for more info*)

The only gray area in CPA marketing is the fact that the opportunities that you choose for yourself have tobe chosen wisely. There are some trusted CPA networks that will put you in contact with screenedmerchants but there reports of some companies not paying commissions out (for whatever reason) orcompanies start the commission off high for an offer but drop it drastically which creates a veryinconsistent experience when looking at the best online business ideas I figure it would be best to stick toones that you know you are going to be able to generate steady extra flow of income with the littlest workpossible. Here are some of the biggest CPA offer sites, Offervault, and oDigger, these sites all have theability to review the networks that are offered on them and see what other people are saying about them.

I wouldn’t get involved with less than a 4 start rating so make sure you pay attention to what other internetmarketers are saying to find the best offers!

Let’s be honest here, the appeal of these online business ideas is to start out just making a little bit of extramoney. Nothing happens overnight and going into an online business with this mindset of consistency is

going to be key! It has a huge payout, whichever route you take, but you can’t get to that payout if you arenot consistent.
