At Roosevelt’s International Study Center, students come
together in Chicago to pursue academic study while
improving their English. Our talented faculty and staff
provide specialized support, helping international students’
achieve their academic goals while expanding their skills.
The campus is located in the heart of downtown Chicago,
within minutes of theaters, museums, parks, Lake Michigan,
and restaurants. It's a metropolitan city, offering endless

How to Apply
Chicago takes pride in its greenery with over
500 parks across the city. The city motto even
means “City in a Garden”. During your career at
the International Study Center, you will live and
study across the street from Millenium Park,
with dramatic views overlooking the Chicago
Harbor and Lake Michigan.
You will fi nd some of the best food in the U.S.
while living in Chicago. People visit from all over
the world to try the famous Chicago deep-dish
pizza. With 77 distinct neighborhoods across
the city you will easily fi nd a wide selection of
authentic ethnic restaurants, specialty grocery
stores, and cultural food festivals.
Chicago is a vibrant city where you will fi nd
concerts, parades, shows and festivals to
attend. During the summer there are lots of
festivals held in Chicago’s many parks, and in
venues across the city. Explore world-class
museums, theater, sports, and cultural events.

Roosevelt’s campus is located in the heart of
Chicago, so you can quickly access your favorite
destinations and attractions. In this walkable
city you can easily get around on foot, or use
the train and bus for quick transport. Chicago
has the second largest public transportation
system in the U.S., so you can get anywhere
in just a few minutes. Roosevelt students can
use the bus service for free, or use the local
bike-share scheme, Divvy, at a reduced rate.

LEARN THE SKILLS YOU NEED
You will receive a combination of
English language preparation,
academic courses, and study skills
training that will fully prepare you
for entering your chosen degree at
Roosevelt University. Undergraduate
students will earn up to 28 academic
credits toward a bachelor's degree,
and most graduate students will be
able to apply one academic course
toward a master's degree.
