I.C.E PRESEENTS!!!!!!! Our youth today has many

hidden talents that need to be adopted by our communities to empower them to become proficient at their craft.

International City Entertainment (I.C.E) is a non-profit organization that will inspire our youth to embrace their individuality and express themselves in a positive manner, which will help them grow into self-assured young adults.

This type of organization can help curtail violence, increase self-esteem and economic growth within the community.

Keep Our Children Involved in Positive Activities

After-school programs help to reduce juvenile violence because they offer alternative activities for children and youth.

Young adults are extremely interested in the entertainment industry and often use different forms of arts as an outlet to release frustration and utilize their time wisely.

Hawkins and Weis (1985) stated, “The social development model asserts that the most important units of socialization family, schools, peers, and community, influence behavior sequentially. These social bonds to conventional society inhibit association with delinquent peers, and in turn, prevent delinquent behavior.”

Many parents are aware that after school programs are effective in reducing crime, but unfortunately cannot find the time or do not have the available funds to get their children involved.

I.C.E is an affordable nonprofit organization that will require minimal investments by parents, but will produce substantial results.

A Child’s Self-Esteem is Priceless, but Can Cost Them Many OPPORTUNITIES if it is Not STIMULATED

by ENCOURAGEMENT

The recognition of someone’s passion and hard work is a catalyst to success and pride.

I.C.E will host talent shows that will allow young adults to broadcast their talents to their families and peers and receive positive reinforcement from a genuine audience.

According to Hawkins and Weis (1985), “Positive socialization is achieved when youths have the opportunity to be involved in conforming activities, when they develop skills necessary to be successfully involved, and with those whom they interact consistently reward desired behaviors”.

Build up our Youth

Scholar Devora Shamah (2011) suggests, “Promoting engagement in both school and community activities, as well as meaningful work, would benefit rural youth—and perhaps all youth—in building the strong sense of purpose they need to carry them through the challenges of moving into adulthood.”

Community Economic Growth

Witnessing an organization such as I.C.E emerge from a vision, can encourage other leaders in the community to step up and bring forth their own ideas.

I.C.E can help bring members of the community together to help celebrate the accomplishments of our youth

Community economic growth can be accomplished by members of communities together to create local economic opportunities and stimulate growth and employment by developing new programs and businesses.

Youth Leaders According to journalist

Mihaela Lica Butler (2008), “Some inspired young people have the desire to change the world for the better; they don’t always have the tools or ability. That’s where we as adults serve a vital role. With our help, youths points of views that couldn’t otherwise be shared – can. And ideas that would otherwise never be put into action – will”

Empowering OUR Youth Together as a community,

we should be able to provide a safe environment for our children. Our children are the future and we need to be able to give them the necessary means in order succeed in life.

This establishment is a tool for independency, empowerment, individualism, and self –esteem.

If we utilize all of these tools there is no room for failure only success.
