Come join the fun on December 14, 2019 for the best Christmas party in town!
Santa will be there with a couple of his favorite reindeer. There will be a present for every child and lots of fun activities like face painting, balloon artists, bouncy houses and a giant slide. Catering will be provided by Brother Tom Bianchi. The fun starts at 12:00pm and will continue until 3:00pm at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, Animal Learning Center (plenty of parking in the area).
Christmas party set up begins at 9am. If you are available we could certainly use the help. It s always a good time! Hello Brothers and Sisters, First off, I want to thank everyone that voted in the city council and school board elections this year. Unfortu-nately, there were three races in Des Moines that did not have a clear winner (someone with at least 50% of the vote). These three races will be decided by a final runoff election, in which the top two candidates from each race will compete for a majority of the votes. For the runoff, you can cast your ballots Tuesday, Decem-ber 3rd from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Local 347 endorsed candidates in the runoff election: Mayor Frank Cownie Ward 2, Des Moines City Councilwoman Linda Westergaard Carl Voss for Des Moines City Council At-Large These are important races so don t forget to go to your normal polling place the Tuesday after Thanksgiving to vote! Come join the fun on December 14, 2019 for the best Christmas party in town!
Santa will be there with a couple of his favorite reindeer. There will be a present for every child and lots of fun activities like face painting, balloon artists, bouncy houses and a giant slide. Catering will be provided by Brother Tom Bianchi. The fun starts at 12:00pm and will continue until 3:00pm at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, Animal Learning Center (plenty of parking in the area).
Christmas party set up begins at 9am. If you are available we could certainly use the help. It s always a good time!
