Convocation

IAMR successfully organized its PGDM Convocation (Batch

2011-13 & 2012-14) on Sunday, the 26th April, 2015 in its

beautiful and well equipped Seminar Hall. Chief Guest Prof.

Dr R.K. Khandal, V.C. UPTU; Guest of Honor Dr Kamal

Singh, D.G. National HRD Network, and Dr A.K. Jain,

Director Saraya Group of Industries addressed and blessed

the passed out students. Chairman’s Gold Medals were

awarded to meritorious students. Hon’ble Chairman,

IAMR, Sh. RK Gupta presided over the function.

Alumni Meet

IAMR once again invited their eminent and talented

Alumni for interaction with the present batches of PG

Management students on Sunday, the 26th April 2015.

They all shared their valuable experiences and learning

with their fellow colleagues and guided them for their

professional career prospects.

Orientation Programme

For the fresh batch of PG Management students (2015-17),

the four-day Managerial Orientation Program, which

commenced on 17th August 2015 in Management Block

concluded on 20th August 2015 with a visit of students to

GIP Mall, Noida. Many dignitaries including Sh. Shankar

Goenka and Mr. Alik addressed the students.

Independence Day Celebration

On 15th August 2015, the Institute celebrated

Independence Day with flag- hoisting ceremony followed

by cultural events and patriotic songs. Students of IAMR

Group of Institutions also celebrated Independence Day fin

their respective Faculties by played different kinds of

games. They all enjoyed the music and the lunch.

Visit of Sh. Anil Shastri, Chairman &

Prof. G.L. Sharma, LBSIM, New Delhi

In the larger interest of building and producing competent

human resource reservoir at the level of faculty and the

management graduates; and for enabling them to man the

diverse set of challenging responsibilities, nationally and

globally; IAMR, Ghaziabad and LBSIM, New Delhi have in-

principle agreed to join hands and undertake different

programs. Sh. Anil Shastri and Prof. GL Sharma from

LBSIM visited the Institute and interacted with the

students and faculty.

Teachers’ Day Celebration

On 05th September 2015, the Institute celebrated the

birthday of Late Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, Ex-President by

paying their respect to the teaching fraternity and

organized a series of cultural events.

"FRESENANZA-2015"

Senior students organized the Fresher Party

"FRESENANZA-2015" at the Institute’s premises with a lot

of enthusiasm, vigor and vivacity. At “FRESENZA-2015”,

students took active participation in music, dance, art,

fashion shows, and many more exciting ones. Mr. and Ms.

Fresher were selected and they were felicitated

accordingly.

ASSOCHAM - 9th Annual Summit

Faculties and Students from PGDM 1st Semester attended

the event. The participation provided a rich exposure to

the students about the Corporate Frauds. Students

interacted with the Corporate Leaders and various

business organizations participated in the event and learnt

a lot about practicalities. Students also demanded such

kind of event in the future.

Lecture on Innovative Solutions for

Business Growth

A special lecture was organized, on Monday, the 07th

September, 2015 on “Innovative Solutions for Business

Growth”. The distinguished guest was Mr. Anil Niraniya.

He is the founder and Director of “Wind & Company”. In

last he took several sessions on Self Motivation.

Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan

On 2nd October, Ghandhi Jayanti was celebrated with

Swacchh Bharat Abhiyan in the Institute’s premises. Students

took out a procession to create awareness about Swacchh

Bharat Abhiyan and cleaned the nearby outside areas of the

campus. A drawing and painting competition was also

conducted on this occasion and winners of the event were

awarded.

Placement Activity by Kotak

Kotak Mahindra Bank with the help of the Corporate

Resource Center of the Institute conducted a campus

placement drive for Management students having finance

specialization. Selected students got their offer letters and

will be joining the Bank shortly.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Birthday

Celebration

The Institute celebrated birthday of the great scientist and

former President Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam on Thursday, the

15th October 2015. On this occasion, students had lively

discussion about the achievements of Dr. Kalam in the field of

missile mission and public administration. At the end of the

session, winners were awarded.

Sports Day

IAMR Group of Institutions organized an

Interdepartmental Sports meet on 23rd and 24th October

2015. Many indoor as well as outdoor events were

conducted which involved individual and group

participation. Carrom, Chess, Table Tennis, Race, Volley-

Ball, Kho -Kho, Kabaddi are the few examples of various

events conducted. Huge number of participants from the

various departments actively participated and made the

event a grand success.

Guest Lecture by Sh. Chandershekhr Singh

A special lecture was organized, on “Getting Your Dream

Job and Start Your Career”. The distinguished guest was

Mr. Chandrashekhar Singh, an alumnus of IIT, Delhi. Mr.

Singh is an Entrepreneur, Webpreneur, Motivational

Speaker, Corporate Trainer, Author and Educationist. He

took several sessions on Self Motivation.

Industrial Visit to Mother Dairy

An industrial visit to Mother Dairy was organised by IAMR

Group of Institutions.Two faculty members Prof Tripti Gupta

and Prof Bhawna Chaudhary & 50 Students from PGDM &

MBA participated in the event. Students got exposure about

various products of Mother Dairy interact with experts

during visit . The visit was successful.
