Installing  Panopto  Recorder  to  your  machine  NOTE:  You  will  only  have  to  install  the  Panopto  Recorder  if  you  plan  on  recording  

with  your  personal  machine.      Panopto  Recorder  is  already  installed  on  the  classroom  iMac’s.  

 1. Visit  http://hc.hosted.panopto.com.  Under  the  “USER  LOGIN”  section  on  the  

right  side  of  the  page,  click  the  drop  down  menu  next  to  “Log  in  using”  and  select  Haverford  College  Moodle,  then  click  LOG  IN.      

   

2. The  next  window  will  be  the  Haverford  College  Moodle  main  page.    Proceed  to  sign  in  using  your  Haverford  username  and  password.    

 

 

3. Once  you  enter  your  moodle  credentials,  you  will  be  sent  to  the  Panopto  interface.    Click  on  the  RECORD  button  on  the  top  right  corner  of  the  page.  

 4. A  pop-­‐up  window  will  appear.    Select  the  WINDOWS  installer  from  the  

PANOPTO  FOCUS  RECORDER  on  the  left  side  of  the  pop-­‐up.      

   

 

5. Once  you  select  to  download  FOCUS  RECORDER  for  WINDOWS,  click  the  SAVE  FILE  button  in  the  next  pop-­‐up  window.    

 

6. After  the  installer  is  downloaded  to  your  machine,  open  the  .exe.    

 

7. Once  you  open  the  .exe  file,  click  RUN.          

8. Click  on  NEXT  in  the  first  window  of  the  installer.    

     

   

9. Finally,  click  INSTALL  on  the  last  window,  the  installer  will  now  install  Panopto  recorder  to  your  machine.
