The management website

In this website you can define a competition game, insert questions about streets/places, and see games details.

Insert a question1. Go to the required street (or place) on the map, and put the cursor on this street (or place). Then press “continue”.

2. The name of the chosen street appears automatically. If it isn’t what you wanted to choose press “not the street I pointed”.Else, you can now define your choice as a street or as a place (you can insert the place name). Then you can insert a question, and can also add a link of a video or add a hint. Then press “add”. Note: that a regular question, and later will be explained how to add special-format question.

Insert a questionSometimes you will see the message: “this street already exists. Would you like to unit with one of the follow questions?”. That’s OK, and even can avoids you from unnecessary work. It means that already exists in the DB a question about this street name. It can be the same street, or street of other city with the same name.So now you can insert a new question as usual, or you can use an existent one (try it!).

3. After an insertion of a regular question you will see it in the “add question” page, with icons of “deletion”, “see on map”, “editing”, and “add extension question “.

Pressing on “add extension question“ (the right icon) will open a page with an option to add a true/false or an American question to this street.

Main menuAfter entering the application you will see the main menu, with these 3 options:• Single player game - if you

want to play alone.• Join to an Existent game – if

you want to join to an existent competition game.

• Open a game – if you want to open a new competition game (Can be done by a guide or by a regular player. Will be explained later).

Single player game

*if exist questions about them or about streets with the same names in other cities.

If you chose to play a single player game you will get questions about streets and places in your area*. When you get a question, you should go to the street (or place) which you think is the answer, and then press “arrive”. If the answer is correct you will get points and then get the next question, otherwise you can try again or skip this question. You can also get a hint (if exist), but it costs some points.

In addition, there is also an option of special formats questions: true/false, American, and image/video. If special question exists it will appear after a correct answer for the first question (the regular one). Single player game isn’t limited by time so you can play as much as you want (or until finishing all the questions in the area).

Single player game

Competition gameIf you chose to play a competition game you will be asked to choose the game you want to join (the optional games are only from the area). Then you will be asked if you want to join to an existent team or to open a new team. The mobile of the player who opens a new team will be the leader mobile of the team. It means that all the operations of the team will be done via the leader mobile, and the other members of the team (which chose to join to this team) will be able to follow the leader via their mobiles.

Competition gameThe game scenario is quite similar to the scenario which was described in a single player game, excluding a few differences.First, competition is limited by time and there is a timer on the screen. Second, the team which gains the highest score wins, and score table will be displayed at the end of the game (as well as the end location - meeting point of all the teams).

Competition gameIn addition, it’s possible to send messages to a guide (if exists) and get messages from him. These messages aren’t SMS and they are free. The option of sending messages is available by pressing on the “menu” button of the mobile.It’s important to mention that in order to play a competition game it’s necessary to define the game’s details in the website in advance, including a password (which should be inserted later in the application by the one who opens the game - guide or regular player).

Guide

*As was mentioned before, opening of a game can be done by a guide or by a regular player who has the password. But guide has more options as will be described.

If you chose to open a new competition game, you will be asked if you are a guide*. If you chose a guide you should later press “start” to turn on the timer and start the competition.A guide can also follow the locations of the participant teams during the game (see image). In addition, he can communicate with the teams by messages.
