Before you install and set up GO-Global 4.0.1 Client, you must uninstall your existing 3.2 installation. Uninstalling in Vista and Windows 7 To uninstall your 3.2 installation, click on the Start icon on the lower-left portion of your screen, and select Control Panel. Then select Programs and Features. Find your installation of GO-Global on the list and right-click on it. The word Uninstall displays. Click on it. The program will uninstall from your machine. Uninstalling in XP For XP, follow the same procedure as in Vista. However, after you select Control Panel, instead of seeing Programs and Features, you will see Add or Remove Programs. Then follow the same directions as in Vista.

Installation and Setup of GO-Global 4.0.1 Client This document details the installation and setup of the new Go-Global 4.0.1 client. Before you install and set up GO-Global 4.0.1 Client, you must uninstall your existing 3.2 installation. Uninstalling in Vista and Windows 7

To uninstall your 3.2 installation, click on the Start icon on the lower-left portion of your screen, and select Control Panel. Then select Programs and Features. Find your installation of GO-Global on the list and right-click on it. The word Uninstall displays. Click on it. The program will uninstall from your machine. Uninstalling in XP For XP, follow the same procedure as in Vista. However, after you select Control Panel, instead of seeing Programs and Features, you will see Add or Remove Programs. Then follow the same directions as in Vista.

Installation

1. Go to Fastrack’s website: https://www.onlyfastrack.com

2. Click on the Clients tab and click on Download Center from the drop-down menu. This will bring you to https://www.onlyfastrack.com/download.aspx.

3. Download the GO-Global 4.0.1 Client. The other item that can be downloaded is its

accompanying documentation.

4. Save it to your local hard drive.

5. Double-click the file gg-client.windows.exe. The following screen displays:

6. Click Run. The Welcome screen displays (see next page):

7. Click Next. The License Agreement screen displays (see next page):

8. Check the box I accept the terms in the license agreement. The Next button will go live.

9. Click the Next button. The Setup Type screen is displayed (see next page):

10. Choose the Complete box, which is the default.

11. Click Next. The Ready to Update or Repair the Program screen is displayed (see next page)

12. Click Install to begin the installation. The Installing GO-Global Client screen is displayed (see next page)

A status bar will go across the screen until the installation is complete. When complete, the Next button will go live.

13. Click the Next button. The InstallShield Wizard Completed screen will display (see next page):

Your installation is now complete.

14. Click Finish.

Setup of GO-Global 4.0.1 Client Fastrack has greatly enhanced our hosting environment in order to provide you with a quicker and more efficient method of dealing with printing issues through GO-Global. This will eliminate the need for server-specific drivers. The following explains how to create an initial setup and how to add printers to the GO-Global client.

1. Click on the GO-Global icon. A screen similar to the following is displayed:

2. Enter hosting.fastrk.com as the Host Address

3. Click on the Connect button. The Sign In screen will be displayed:

4. Enter your User name and Password and click Sign In. A screen similar to the following is displayed (see next page):

5. Click on File in the above screen. The following drop-down menu is displayed:

6. To set up the printers, click on Printers. The following screen is displayed (see next page):

The above screen displays an example of the printers currently available to you. Note that your default printer has a checkmark above the printer’s icon.

• Add - Click Add, if you wish to add a printer. The following screen displays with printers available for adding.

Select the printer you wish to use and click Add to make that printer available to you.

• Remove – To remove a printer from the list, highlight it and select the Remove button.

• Edit – To edit a printer on the list, highlight it and select the Edit button. A screen similar to the following is displayed where you can edit the properties of the printer. Click OK when done with your edits.

• Test Page – Clicking it displays the following message and sends a test page to your

designated printer.

• Set Default – Sets a printer as a default after you highlight it.

• Driver – Allows you to select the driver to be used for the selected printer by displaying the following screen:

Click on the down arrow to display the available drivers (see next page):

After you select your driver, click OK.

• Reset Printers – Clicking on it displays the following screen:

Here you can restore all printer data to its default settings by clicking Yes. Note: When you exit from GO-Global, you must click Sign Out in the drop-down menu shown on Step 4 on page 10 of this document.
