Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is an innovative programme

sponsored and managed by the Department of Science & Technology for attraction of talent to

Science. The basic objective of INSPIRE is to communicate to the youth of the country the

excitements of creative pursuit of science, attract talent to the study of science at an early age and

thus build the required critical human resource pool.

Samaksh Gupta, Class VII; Dhruv Maheshwari, Akarshan Mishra, Class VIII; and Jaskaran

Singh Jaggi, Class X were selected for the District Level 2016-17 and were awarded Rs. 10,000

each.

On 22nd February, these students competed with the other school at District Level wherein

Samaksh Gupta stood 2nd in the Junior category and was selected for the State level. Jaskaran

Singh Jaggi stood 1st in the Senior category.

Delhi Public School Ghaziabad conducted an Orientation programme for students of classes VII,

VIII and IX wherein the parents and the students were acquainted with the different aspects of

the school like exam policy, vision, discipline etc. They were also given a glimpse into the

plethora of competitions, activities and assemblies that were conducted throughout the last

session. Dr Jyoti Gupta, Principal addressed the gathering. and Ms Krishna Singh, Headmistress,

Secondary Wing entertained the doubts and queries of the parents. The session was very helpful

and informative for both the students as well as the parents.

Global Talent Youth India Award 2018

Vani Goel, XG was declared the 2nd Runner-up of the Global Talent Youth India Award 2018,

Connect India, Bournemouth University. She was awarded with the cash prize of INR 18,000

and a memento.

Soham Agarwal, class VII- I; Pragyanshu Mishra, class VIII C and Prachi Chawla, class XII

brought laurels to the school by securing top rank in their respective classes all across India in

the Environment Olympiad, WISE 2017.

World Initiative to Save Environment, WISE 2017 is an initiative to make the future generations

aware about the challenges and solutions to save Mother Earth bringing together expertise from

four international agencies, India – EU Water Partnership, European Commission, GIZ and

Danish Water Forum to promote this campaign.
