I will be creating two television adverts for my main task either based around sportswear for men or perhaps on men’s aftershave or even a type of food.

Men’s sportswear – Nike, Adidas, Puma, Asics

Men’s aftershave – Paco Rabanne, Diesel, Hugo Boss, Cartier, Joop

Food – Mr Kipling range, Mcvities biscuit range, Rustlers range

Ideas

I have thought about making two adverts based around sportswear, a company which has good products I could use to do this is Nike as they have a large campaign which is sports based called ‘Just do it’. I could think of my own slogan which I could use in a similar way to promote my adverts.

Nike would be a good company to follow when making adverts on sports clothing, as they offer a wide range of products which are designed to help benefit people when doing certain sports activity. For example I could make two different adverts on sports clothing based around the physical activity of running. One advert could perhaps advertise running trainers and the other could be to advertise a jacket that is designed to be used for running.

Sportswear

I think it could be a good idea to base my two adverts around men’s aftershave. I could use two different aftershaves from the same company as a way of advertising the company name as a whole. Two aftershaves which could be used to do this for example are Paco Rabanne’s ‘One million’ and Paco Rabanne’s ‘Invictus’, this would clearly be advertising Paco Rabanne as a company.

Men’s aftershave

A specific type of food which I have thought about basing my adverts around would be Mcvities Biscuits. I would use this particular company as they offer an extremely wide selection of biscuits which I could decide to use for my adverts. For example I could make one advert on Mcvitites Milk Chocolate Digestives and one advert on Mcvitites Dark Chocolate Digestives. Although both products are quite similar I would make the adverts noticeably different from each other.

Food
