■ The US Centers for Disease Control andPrevention (CDC) Advisory Committee onImmunization Practices (ACIP) has issued an update ofits 2004 recommendations regarding influenzavaccination and use of antiviral agents. ACIPrecommends vaccination of all individuals with anycondition that could compromise respiratory function,as well as all healthcare workers.
