Dear Readers,

Firefl ies fade into the pale moonlight, discover for yourself what is real or not real in the presence of life. The magic of the darkness mysteriously reveals the way.

Trust and believe in yourself, allow the Universe to keep you steady and on course. Keep your vision, gain insight into the true value of the outcome of your destiny.

Like the turtle, maintain a hard shell on the outside, but keep a courageous loving heart as noble as the lion on the inside of your being.

Create a safe haven, develop a nocturnal instinct, protecting your dream. Live by the highest standards with dignity and respect during the day. Envision the future by night, tuck it in close to your heart as you experience blind faith.

Be clever like the fox, and as wise as the owl, maintain integrity in everything you do. Feed the inner child, laugh and love with wild abandon, create simple joy with moments that can last a lifetime.

Move forward and dance in the shadows of the moon. Don’t take life too seriously, let the rain fall and wash your tears away.

Refresh and renew as we anticipate the next season upon us. May it be delivered in small doses to instill a lasting impression of a beautiful life worth living.

Look toward the horizon, a new dawn awaits, the arrival of a promise to ensure that all you ever wished for, and all you have ever dreamed of will become your reality.

Believe and it shall be done.

Yours in health,

What You Think Rules Your Life Hypnotism Can Make You the Ruler

As you read this article you will begin to understand that you can have the key to your happiness and your health, both mentally and physically through the use of hypnotism. You will begin to realize that whatever your subconscious mind holds as a belief or truth - will make the difference whether you experience success or failure, sickness or health, happiness or unhappiness.

This part of your mind known as the “Subconscious Mind” is the hard drive of your entire life. Everything you have ever experienced through all of your senses - sight, sound, touch, taste or smell - is permanently stored in your subconscious mind. It has a record of every event that you have ever experienced as well as the emotional charge associated with that event.

It is the central control of all your emotions and dominates your conscious mind. Emotions control the strength of your desires, and your desires’ control your behavior. This is why there are times when you may feel powerless over your life. Learning how to take command of that central control system can give you back the power to direct your life in a meaningful way.

Your subconscious mind is also the force behind your imagination. This fact cannot be stressed enough. Your creative imagination is one of the most powerful tools that you have available to produce the positive outcomes that you desire. Everything that you observe, that is man-made, started in someone’s imagination. Nearly all extraordinary achievements are attributed to subconscious insights developed by the imagination. In the natural state of hypnosis the imagination is dominant and your creative powers are at their peak while your conscious mind is in a passive yet protective “observer” state.

The fact that your subconscious controls the thoughts that fuel your desires to achieve any goal is too often overlooked. Sometimes your goals have become outdated. Some goals may be the results of you misunderstanding some past event in your life. How many times have you thought: “I will never let that happen again”; only to experience similar events. Losing weight only to gain it right back

by William Molitor, BCH, CIagain, starting an exercise program or activity only to find excuses not to do it. These are all the results of working only with the conscious mind and overlooking the power that the subconscious holds over everything that you do.

Another important fact about the subconscious mind is that it maintains all of your perceived limitations. These limitations are “showstoppers”, and as long as these limitations are kept as a belief in your mind they will remain a limitation. When you learn to change or modify how you think about yourself you will change how you act. You can only get different results when you take different actions.

Your subconscious mind also has an important role in the control and regulation of involuntary functions of your body such as circulation, respiration, and digestion. If old outdated programs that create stress and anxiety are continuing to run these involuntary bodily functions can become so heavily burdened that you begin to experience physical problems. When you learn to program your subconscious mind to decrease stress and anxiety you increase your health and vitality.

The fastest and easiest way to reprogram your subconscious mind is through the many types of hypnosis. A well trained professional hypnotist can use many proven hypnotic techniques that can assist anyone in making rapid changes. The belief that being in a hypnotic trance state and then being told to do something can make you change is simply nonsense. Some stage hypnotists and nearly all of Hollywood are still promoting this make-believe style of hypnotism. A skilled hypnotist knows that in order for someone to change there are factors that have to be addressed. These factors are just some of the things that are taught in our National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) “Hypnosis Certification Course” at Tri-State Hypnosis Center.

Learning self hypnosis, which is also taught at our Ohio State registered school, can become the cornerstone to any personal development. You have the ability to learn how to better control your life. You can learn to tap in to your unlimited potential.

As you develop personal skills through self hypnosis, doors to your own potential begin to open and you quickly become the master of your life.

Whether you want to work on a specifi c issue such as weight management, stop smoking, fears and anxiety or are generally interested in the fi eld of hypnotism and its many application possibilities, and wish to be able to pass your knowledge on to others by becoming a certifi ed hypnotist/hypnotherapist, you will open many doors to life events that may not have seemed possible before.

Heal with Energetic Mandalasby Rev. Gary Pennington

The new science of healing with Energetic Mandalas may be two hundred years ahead of the old science paradigm. If there is a problem with it, it is its simplicity. Nearly anyone with the desire may learn the process in a few hours. That’s right; you don’t have to study at the feet of the guru for 29 years. The science associated with energetic mandalas has nothing to do with medicine and everything to do with advanced forms of physics. The truth is that the science that would reveal the process of energetic mandala healing is probably beyond advanced physics too. If this healing process didn’t work so well, it would be dismissed for the next two hundred years until science could catch up and prove its effi cacy.

Mandalas are circular pictorial representations of invisible sound and light patterns. Some of these circle pictures represent the sounds of ancient chants. Some represent concepts and thoughts such as Infi nite Love, gratitude, joy, grace, compassion, Divine peace and serenity. You will notice that none of those terms sound at all like medical terminology. As I said, this healing process is non-medical.

Personal invisible mandalas of energy may be created and established for the healing and harmony of the body, mind, and emotions, as well as for prosperity and personal relationships.

Emergency Mandalas

Temporary personal mandalas may be created in less than two minutes to deal with emergencies and to clear them within minutes.

•Anaphylactic shock – such as from a bee sting or an extreme nut allergy•Food poisoning •Clearing a viral infection •Clearing a bacterial infection •Harmonizing the heart •Stopping seizures•Non-Emergency

The following is a short list of disorders that will clear in a few minutes or a few hours.

•Allergies•Toxins

How to Create Energetic Mandalas (the short version)

Take and release three deep breaths and hold each one for a quick count of five.

Fold your hands together, steeple the index fingers and extend the thumbs. The “Sha” mudra helps to maintain healing focus.

Focus upon the “problem” for 30 or 40 seconds. This could be a physical problem or one having to do with relationships or prosperity.

For the moment, be still inside and let go of “wanting” to do anything about the problem. This is the way you tune-in to the great Infinite.

Make this statement: “From the infinite peace that flows within my being, create a mandala for my healing, my relationship or my prosperity. Activate this mandala into my energy field now.”

Take a breath and release it.

Place the center of the palm over the center of your sternum (breast bone) and repeat the statement: “I accept this mandala into my heart chakra with Infinite Love, Compassion, and Gratitude, Infinite Love, Compassion, and Gratitude, Infinite Love, Compassion, and Gratitude.”

That is the fundamental process, and yes, you have successfully created a personal energetic healing mandala! Imagine!

Humankind has always had the ability to heal with energetic mandalas, but didn’t know what they were or how to create and use them, that is, until now.

On Being Enough

I have been attending leadership training classes in Camp Kieve, Maine. We were sitting in circle discussing why, even though we are all engaged in work that supports social change, we had not really connected or taken action on a particular world event, the One Billion Rising Dance to end violence against women, this past Valentine’s Day.

We discussed how it is hard to feel part of a community when we all live and work all over the country and the world. We talked about caring and yet not being able to find ways to engage. One member of our group spoke very poignantly about wanting to know that her very being and caring had to be enough; that she might not have the energy or time to do more than acknowledge the strife of women everywhere while she tries to survive on a farm in coastal Maine with her husband and young children, one of whom is quite ill.

I began to think about her words as another woman began to speak. She asked, “Why can’t I just be? Why do I have to somehow measure up? What is enough? If I am truly living my own values and principles, am I not engaged? Am I not doing what I need to do for myself? Who decides what is enough? Why can’t I just be and why isn’t that enough?”

I listened to all of this and I began to realize that our language has become so intertwined with consumerism and competition that we cannot even express our beingness, our own worth and value without qualifiers and quantifiers. I was shocked at how, among a group of women dedicated to transformative leadership, we could be so trapped and unable to express our innate worth and the value we place on living our principles.

How mighty is language and how oppressive the habit of it. I am trying to learn to be; to simply be in my own skin, in my own small sphere, in my own meaning. I am trying to learn to be in the moment. I have to wonder why isn’t it enough for me to just be? I am learning that is enough; it has to be.

Are Your Religious Beliefs Making You Sick?

The relationship between health and religion as defined in the Old Testament is simple: Where there is sickness, someone has “sinned.” In fact the Old Testament book of Job specifically tries to deny that relationship, and we no longer believe that all sickness is related to sin. If sin did equate to sickness, then our prisons would be filled with sick people who would be better served in hospitals.

But, if the belief was so prevalently held for centuries, is there no basis for at least a measure of truth? Can denying or going against your religious beliefs make you ill?

The truth is, yes, it can.

The relationship between some sicknesses and religious beliefs stems mainly from guilt—which can lead to shame, depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, and exhaustion. You don’t have to be a medical doctor to know how these emotions adversely affect the immune system, leaving you susceptible to colds, the flu, and many other minor and eventually—if the emotional symptoms are not treated—major illnesses.

Why don’t most criminals succumb to these illnesses? I suggest it is because their consciences have hardened to the guilt, finding ways to justify their behavior. But, if they fail to take responsibility for their mistakes and own the consequences of their actions, they are more likely to repeat the same failures.

Notice that I switched from the word “sin” and used the word “mistakes.” This is important, and the key to understanding how our religious beliefs can affect our health. In my past, I believed that if I broke the law—referring more to religious law rather than state law—I would have committed a sin. Then I would feel guilt and shame. I would follow that with remorse, repentance, and a determination not to repeat my behavior, only to fail again, finding myself committing the same “sins” over and over.

When I replaced the word “sins” with the word “mistakes” I found a new freedom. Guilt was still prevalent, but it no longer held the same power. Yes,

I made mistakes—but I was not a mistake. I could take responsibility for my slip-ups, correct them if possible, seek forgiveness if need be, and move on with my life. This subtle distinction brought healing and wholeness to my life. Never again did I feel like I was unworthy, or was “going to hell.” No longer did I feel as if my Higher Power was unhappy, or worse, mad at me. No longer did I feel as if I would never amount to anything.

Part of the process of recovering from inappropriate religious beliefs is to discover what beliefs affect your physical health and replace them with beliefs that promote mental, physical and spiritual health.

Yes, your religious beliefs can make you physically ill, but by changing your beliefs, you can improve the healthy quality of your life.

On Angels’ Wings Inspiring Stories of Divine Intervention

Best FriendsMy Dad and Mr. Wood were best friends. They had been through WWII together and remained close friends the rest of their lives. They both had a great sense of humor. Together with my Mom and Mrs. Wood they made for a great foursome. Camping, card games, holidays. They shared each others lives and enjoyed each others company. Mr. Wood was the first of the foursome to pass away. Mrs. Wood lived a few more years and then passed 9 months before my Dad.

I had been working at a garden center/nursery which is seasonal work. I had gone back to school and needed money to pay for supplies and books. I applied for a job at a popular tea room in our town. As I was waiting to hear back about this job my Dad who was in the hospital took a turn for the worse. When I got a call for an interview I told the gentleman that my Dad was sick and I did not think I could handle the job right now. The gentleman convinced me that they would work around my Dad’s illness and he wanted to hire me.

I started the job at the beginning of December and Dad passed away December 11th. I was working just a few days at the tea room after Christmas. Our reservations for lunch were full on this one particular day.

A couple I recognized came in. Their names were Bob and Carla. I thought it was so odd because they live in Louisville Kentucky and this is Medina, Ohio. Carla said this tea room was her favorite place and she was disappointed that she was not able to get a reservation and she just had to come in and check out the gift shop. They had no way of knowing I was working there. When I think of all that happened for myself and this couple to meet up, I know that someone in heaven had to lend a helping hand. You see this couple is the son and daughter-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. Wood. The son Bob is named after my Dad. I know in my heart that Mr. and Mrs. Wood and my Dad were letting us know that they were together in heaven. I know that was their message and it gave me great peace. – M.B.

Dear Wayne,

I’ve had a problem with my in-laws since I was a newlywed. My Mother-in-law calls us a lot and drops by without calling ahead. I have asked my husband to speak to her about this—he has, but it didn’t work. Her reply was, “We are family now.” I don’t know how to go about informing my Mother-in-law to respect our privacy without stirring up a bees’ nest and causing hard feelings. Do you have any suggestions? — M.H.

Dear M.H.,

You are wise to want to set boundaries, and wiser still to enlist your husband’s help. That’s where I would start. Approach your husband again and ask him to broach the subject with his parents a second time, and if need be, to continue to do so until they get the message. Explain to him how important this issue is to you. If you need to, go over what the words you will use. Be positive but firm. Explain how much you both love having them as a part of your lives, but advanced notice before dropping by would be greatly appreciated. Present a combined front in order not to have one or the other blamed for the boundaries.

In a “Wall Street Journal” article written by Dr. Terri Orbuch, the University of Michigan professor says that close relations with in-laws lessens the odds of divorce by twenty percent for men, but can actually increase the odds of divorce for women by twenty percent. Ouch. I’m certainly not recommending that women have no relationship with their in-laws, but according to that report, strong boundaries seem absolutely appropriate.

When setting boundaries, use loving language whenever you need to say “No.” And, when possible, suggest an alternative time and/or date. Having a healthy relationship can bring plenty of love and joy over the years, and a little loving maintenance is usually all that’s required.

How Do You Experience Your Experiences?

by Olivia PierceThoughts and feelings transform into memories as food for growth as well as perceived manure. Memories of past experiences can be either food or manure, yet both provide enrichment; they really are the same! Ask yourself, faithfully, questions as to what loving experience was I wanting to experience to call in such an event into my life. We are not given more than can be handled. This also means it does not have to be done alone. We are here to help and love each other.

Know that this life-experiences are requested. Every experience is sent with love from above high. The perception and judgment of the experience is what we make it to be. Focus on the loving behind the experience and release what is not love. Experiences are both meaningful and curative. God is everywhere.

Joy and Contentment – Animal Style

When I started thinking about the theme for this edition of Infi nity, the fi rst thing I thought about was the contrast between how I conduct my life, and how our animals conduct their lives. When I mentioned the theme to Terri, she also had the same thought. I also began to notice, as I watched my animals in their daily routines, how they EXPRESS joy and contentment. I would like to share some of the contrasts and observations I came up with.

As a human being (admittedly a type A person who is always doing something), I rarely create space in my life to invite joy or contentment in, or to even allow an awareness of those feelings. I had this realization earlier this Spring, and I also noticed that when I DID focus on recognizing

a moment of joy or a feeling of contentment, I felt much lighter energetically, and more at peace. When I do not allow the awareness, then I become narrowly focused, tired, and downright grumpy.

Let’s take a look at our older Basset Obi now. Obi is a master in the art of enjoying his life hugely, and expressing his feelings of joy, contentment, grumpiness, or reluctance to do something he does not deem necessary. Obi is fi rst and foremost a dog who enjoys the sun, the grass, and a nice warm surface to lay on outside. He has an attraction to round things to lay on as well. When I look out my offi ce window, I often see him laying on the round cement cistern cover in the sun, with an expression of utter bliss on

by Cindy Huff & Terri Noftsger

Page 13: Infinity August / September 2013

13Infinity

his face. On hot days he will spend hours laying in the cool grass under a tree, sniffing the air and dozing. In the winter, we often find him flat on his back on the couch, snoring away, or lying on the round footstool in the sun.

Often he will make little grunts of contentment, he is a very vocal guy. He can also express utter joy and exuberance when barking and running up and down the fence playing with Terri’s horse. He also groans with pleasure when eating an extra treat in his food bowl. Obi enjoys his life, and his whole family knows it.

Recently I had a rare chance to see my horse express Joy through play. Since she tends to be a serious, intelligent personality, I was quite surprised to see her play in the water. It reminded me of a small child splashing in a wading pool. She splashed noisily with one front foot, then the other, and then switched legs again. She did this over and over, then plopped down in the puddle and rolled and rolled, grunting and snorting the whole time. She had a wonderful time, and I laughed so much! It is awesome to see her play now, because she would not play or express curiosity when she first came. We now have a game where she pushes around a big green ball with her nose. When we move barrels around in the arena, she wants to push those too. I hope someday that she and I can begin playing more together...we are starting with my being very pleased when she plays.

I am thinking that animals seem to innately understand that joy and contentment are to be sought after and valued highly in life. They just do it, they don’t have to think about it, or plan it, or meditate in it. They just gravitate to it. They also seem to try very hard to make us stop and experience joy or contentment WITH them, even briefly. My horse will stand perfectly still with me, allowing me to rest my head on hers and just breathe together...utter bliss. I have so much to learn from them...perhaps someday I will seek a cool spot in the grass under a tree instead of thinking about cutting the grass (grin).

Baker Chiropractic Testimonial

Ken Avoided Neck Surgery, Found Pain Relief, Got Off Medications, Lost Weight and Has Taken Control

of His Future Health

Ken Rice and Dr. Patrick Baker

“My name is Ken Rice, I am a 62 yr old man that had never had chiropractic care.

In 2009, I had a total hip replacement which was the result of osteoarthritis. At this time I was given a prescription of Meloxican for the arthritis. Six months later I started having pain in my neck. I went to my primary care and he referred me to a spine surgeon. I was sent for a cat scan with dye. The results came back that I would need to have a procedure to put cadaver bones in my neck due to the osteoarthritis.

After praying about my situation I decided to hold off on the surgery, at which time they recommended I stay on the Meloxican. I was also on blood pressure medications and had been for quite some time.

I am a local beekeeper in Fairfield, Ohio. In the summer of 2012 it was time to extract honey. I was out on one of the farms pulling boxes off the hives that were full of honey. Each box weighs approx. 65-70 lbs. I must of turned the wrong way and a pain shot across my lower back and down my left leg. I thought I strained something and with some rest, it would be ok. The pain didn’t go away. So I went to my primary care physician, They took x-rays and sent me to a neurosurgeon. He said I had a herniated disc and we would try epidural

injections. I went thru a series of those with little or no results. All the time remaining in almost unbearable pain. I couldn’t stand walk or lie down without the pain. I was desperate for some relief and I didn’t know where to turn.

A wonderful friend that goes to our church (Geneva Lewis) begged me to go see Dr. Patrick Baker. This was approximately 2 months after I had injured my back. The day of the appointment I could barely walk into the office. I was slumped over and the pain was obvious on my face. Dr. Baker’s staff greeted me and took me right back and did x-rays and scanned my back. The scan showed my neck and left lower back were severe. I waited in the doctor’s and the Dr. walked in and said, “Mr. Rice, we are going to help you.”

They had me hang over a machine as long as I could. He adjusted me and when I got up off that table I was standing straight and my pain was decreased by 40%. I could not believe what one visit did for my pain. With every visit to Dr. Patrick Baker’s office, my back continued to improve until I was pain free!

We are still working on my neck, which was more severe than my back. I have so much confidence in Dr. Baker and his amazing staff, that I know we will get my neck pain free also.

My wife Carol and I took a 30 day challenge that the Baker Chiropractic and Wellness Fairfield Clinic offered. It was literally a life changing experience for us. We were to use recipes from the Maximized Living nutritional plans, A book offered at Dr. Patrick Baker’s office. We weighed in on a machine that told your weight, body fat percentage, and muscle mass. After the weigh in, we started our 30 day challenge. The recipes in the book I will have to say are absolutely delicious. We started every morning with a protein shake which was a scoop of Maximized Living Protein powder. That is added to 1 cup of almond milk. To that I would add fresh Kale, fresh strawberries, fresh pineapple, a few almonds. The book is a wealth of knowledge for nutritional values on various things. For example, you would need to eat 20 bowls of oatmeal to equal the nutritional value of 1 bowl of Kale. I put the

fresh kale in the protein shake and when you blend it up you don’t even taste the kale. After a couple weeks we realized this was a life style change we could live with. We both work, so what makes it nice is any of the recipes can be done in 20 minutes or less. The recipes literally explode with flavor. After 30 days we weighed in. I lost 14.2 lbs. and reduced my body fat by 2.8%. My wife did even better reducing her body fat by 3.6%.

An added amazing fact is that both my wife and I are off all prescription medications including blood pressure, arthritis meds, acid reflux meds and cholesterol meds. Just as a side note. The acid reflux was caused by the extended use of the arthritis med.

It is now 6 1/2 weeks and I am down 20 lbs. and my wife Carol is doing as well. We monitor our blood pressure every morning just to keep tabs. So far both are at or slightly below normal with no medications. We are at

a point in our lives that we are living a much healthier life because of the total program Dr. Patrick Baker and his amazing staff offer for everyone. Its not a diet. Its keeping your spine in alignment and discovering a nutritional plan you can follow and enjoy for the rest of your life.

I thank God for directing our path to Dr. Patrick Baker and his staff. Dr. Baker and his staff truly care about your quality of life. My wife and I are living proof.”

Journey of the Soul Radio Show: Guidance and Healing Across the Airwaves

Hosted by Stephanie Van Hoose, Spiritual Medium, Medical Intuitive

Journey of the Soul radio is about speaking from the heart. When we speak from the heart our words carry love and healing vibrations for the highest good of everyone. This is my intention to you, the listener. From my journey to yours, because even though our paths are unique, from beginning to end, we are all connected. If you are searching for answers and need guidance why don’t you take a break and sit with me for an hour. I am going to bring you some incredibly gifted teachers, healers, authors, artists to share their wisdom and experiences. I invite everyone to call in and ask questions. One of the many blessings of airing this on the radio is that others get to share in your experience. For every question you ask there are a thousand others looking for that very answer!

One of the gifts God has given me is the ability to see, hear, and feel loved ones on the other side. Loved ones who have crossed over or as others say, “passed away”. I feel so blessed to be able to do this for people because I know how it feels to grieve someone after they leave. It’s a pain so deep that there are moments you feel like you can’t take another breathe without crying or collapsing into the earth. Often there are things left unsaid, or moments where you would do or say anything just to hear their voice again. Do they see me? Do they know how much I miss them? Are they around me? These are a few of the many questions I am asked during a session. The answers come in many different ways, some are messages, pictures, memories, songs or even a particular gesture, tone or accent. Often there are things shared during a reading that the loved one would have never said while living. How is this? When we are living our thoughts and feelings are often clouded by the mind or ego. When we leave this earth and cross over there is no more ego, just the heart and pure love. Being able to share this with my clients is a true honor, and a very humbling experience. It’s healing, love and peace all rolled up in one.

Another topic of healing I will be discussing on the show is Medical Intuition. I became a certified medical intuitive to help bring others into their divine health. All diseases are dis-eases of the body. There are emotional connections to each illness. During a session I scan your body to help you

identify the challenges and the emotions connected to them. When you can see what is causing the illness you can heal the illness. Because these sessions are usually 30-60 minutes I won’t be doing them on air. However, each week I will discuss a specific illness and its related cause and what you can say and do to heal it. I am also inviting everyone to submit their questions on my website at www.stephanievanhoose.com. Each week I will read some on air for our audience, and answer as many questions as time allows.

Wonderful things are happening and I can’t wait to share them! Journey of the Soul radio will be broadcasting live Sunday evenings from 9-10pm on WBLL 1390AM and via the web at www.peakofohio.com. If you are interested in sponsoring the show contact Dave Reynolds at [email protected]. Sending you love and blessings!

I am a newly retired military wife. For many years we traveled all over the world. It wasn’t until our assignment in D.C. that my life started to change in ways I couldn’t have imagined. In 2008 and 2009 several of my friends lost loved ones. And in moments of quiet solitude I began hearing messages and seeing images of their loved ones. I shared these messages and have been sharing ever since.

It’s been quite a journey since then. I’ve met some amazing teachers along the way. I am now certified as a Medical Intuitive, a DNA Activator and Genetic Reprogrammer and an Anchor Thought Re-Patterning practitioner. I am also certified in Theta Healing.

In February of this year I became a certified Oneness Blessing Giver. This course has helped all my abilities EXPONENTIALLY!! I share all of my gifts for the Highest Good!

A Life Well Lived Holds No Regrets

Are you rushing through life? Does there never seem to be any time left over for yourself? Are you the type of person that can’t seem to take a moment to refl ect on where you are going, because you are always working or taking care of someone else? Then somewhere along the line the time comes when you can retire from working or have the opportunity to slow down, and now you don’t know what to do with yourself because you forgot to take time to develop close relationships. Don’t let this be a lifetime where you didn’t do the things you always thought you wanted to do.

If having more friends is what you feel you are lacking in your life, start being a friend to everyone you come into contact with and really show an interest in them as a person, you might just be surprised how well they respond when they feel you actually care about them as a person, not just as an acquaintance.

Do you want more love in your life? then start today by treating others with more kindness and love and take time to listen. You may just fi nd there is a whole big world out there that previously did not exit for you. It is not the world that changed at that point but we ourselves.

It’s never too late or too soon to pay attention to how well we nourish our bodies or our minds. The body and the mind need a positive program to follow. We can do a lot to keep ourselves healthy if we cut out the junk food and the junk thoughts. Paying attention to our daily thoughts will go a long way to helping us have a higher energy and vibrational level. When we have a higher energy and vibrational level it makes us more fun to be around. It allows us to have the energy to do the extras in life that before, we were always too tired to do.

If you want a different outcome in life than you have had thus far then you have to try something different. Even if it doesn’t always work out the way

by Kathy Vaskeyou had things planned it is better than sitting and hoping that some day your ship will come in. The moral to this story is, keep on trying to make your life the way you want it to be, become involved in your own life don’t just be a spectator.

Rushing through life and feeling what we are doing is so much more important than what anyone else around us is doing almost assures us of feeling isolated and lonely in our later years. Remember, it is always about living life well with no regrets.

can be enhanced which is very benefi cial to aging adults. Compounds called anthocyanins, found in blackberry juice increase antioxidant activity protecting your cardiovascular system from disease.

There are two berries that resemble each other, so be careful not to get confused, there are blackberries and black raspberries. Both are packed with health benefi ts, but black raspberries may be hard to fi nd, because of their short season. Black raspberries tend to be more rounded and become hollow in the middle when picked whereas the blackberries retain its stem. Blackberries are smoother and shinier than black raspberries. It is best to store blackberries loosely in a shallow container and refrigerate, if choosing to freeze them, wash berries in cold water, pat dry and place in airtight container. Be creative!

Experiment with the sweetness of blackberries, it can also be teamed up with savory dishes as well. Enjoy the many benefi ts of this amazing berry and celebrate the magic of summer!

Many of us may be able to recall summer memories as a child when we would pick and eat blackberries fresh off the vine. Perhaps a majority of us may not even realize the nutrients we were receiving from nature’s bounty.

Blackberries have so many health benefi ts, it is best to take advantage of the season and discover new and easy ways to improve your health. A low calorie fruit packed with fi ber, blackberries can give you quick energy and help you stay full until your next meal.

These little berries actually help prevent cancer and reduce stomach disorders. The extract of blackberries contain anti-infl ammatory and antiviral properties which can provide protection for periodontal health. Eating blackberries may help kill oral bacteria that can cause illness and could prevent periodontal infections.

The polyphenols in blackberries help improve motor and cognitive skills, short term memory performance

A Spiritual Connection

Man’s desire to reach out and achieve oneness with the divine is as old as primitive man staring in wonder at a full moon. Contemplation of the divine and our position in the universe enables the realization of an existence beyond this physical world that gives hope to mortal man that this Earthly sojourn is a temporary but necessary existence that prepares us or allows us to prepare ourselves for the next stage in our progression of life. Religion is the manner in which we express our personal connection with God in an organized and social setting. Worship is the personal expression of faith that we hold within our consciousness of the existence of a supreme being that leads us, guides us, and protects us as we participate in this experience fulfilling the expressions of love and the expectations of achievement and accomplishment that tests our patience, draws from us the courage and the will to persevere against all obstacles and difficulties, to emerge victorious, confident that we have run a good race fulfilling our obligations to friends, family, and our Creator for in the time our consciousness has resided in this physical form we have held our head high, held true to our convictions and values, and spoken truth when the opportunity presented itself that others may benefit from the knowledge and wisdom we have gained through the living of life itself.

The connection available between man and our Heavenly Father and His direct representatives exists within us as our birthright. We are enabled at birth with the ability to touch a heavenly presence at will. It is simply a matter of clearing our minds of conscious thought, touching a level of receptiveness with an open mind, and receiving just as if we were tuning in a frequency on a radio. Our open mind and the benevolent intentions of our heart enable us to receive. Say a prayer asking for protection as you relax your mind and allow yourself to enter into a receptive state. Some will write down questions or describe situations, circumstances, or conflicts they would like to resolve. Others will simply ask for love, understanding, and wisdom to deal with that which is being presented to them at the time. This spiritual connection is strong and once established will not be broken unless by choice of your own free will you abandon this available avenue of guidance and direction to focus your attention instead on physical gratification and worldly possessions at the exclusion of all else that would allow you to avail yourself

of the love, guidance, and support available from those spiritual beings and God’s direct representatives who have your best interests at heart.

From the collection of messages and teachings received directly from spirit teachers/angels that compose Wilma Jean Jones’ upcoming book “An Angel Told Me So” comes this discourse on our spiritual connection with the divine. This message was received by Wilma on July 8, 1996.

“Treacherous times will cause many to decide on the basis of their own understanding issues that will become the hallmark of their existence. Man has allocated a place for himself without shelter from adversity in spite of all warnings and interruptions that were given so that considerations would bring insight and direction to allow adequate intelligence to lead them in a manner that would insure their safety. Regardless of times past when men would seek to enlarge their capacity to understand the meaning of this existence, apathy and complacency has led them to display urgency only for those things that will multiply their pleasures or add distinction to their accomplishments. Rely on your own knowledge given so that those who are entitled to your appraisals will seek to include His Holy works in their daily contact with those of lesser understanding. Take your stand with those who have not entitled to advance themselves so that as time progresses and iniquities become common place even in attitude, showers of information will be given in order to obtain release and conviction on the part of those so inclined to listen.”

“Regardless of sophisticated scholarship, minds will be turned inward in order to obtain comfort where discomfort has created dismay and an inability to seek resources that man has been given by his Creator to enable him to rescue himself in times where no help is in sight nor any refuge given. Remorse sometimes brings about change just as good tidings can bring joy where there was remorse. In order to obtain the highest level of understanding one must return to that which is given to uphold him in time of need as well as possession of rewards. Caution those who are complacent to adjust their schedules so that matters of importance can be discussed. God has given each of us a task to be completed with the knowledge that He gives us strength in the aftermath of destruction and the ability to trudge forward in spite of obstacles that loom large before us. Therefore keep close to His admonishments where He directs the conditions required to enable us to return unfettered to that place of safety and His love abounds.”

Aug / Sept 2013

Page 21: Infinity August / September 2013

“There are many explanations man can give for examples put before him. However weak in his understanding, there is a parcel of truth obtained within. That is why it is so necessary to seek that which God has given for always He warrants our attention and devotion, as undeserving as we may feel. Anxieties wither our abilities and our eyes are filled with misty recollections of memories long put away when this Spirit within was attached to His glorious being and protected in order that we may learn with freedom from obstacles that which would always lead us back to this state of being where His nature alone enlightens and fills to full measure all that has been equated with His Word. Spoken many times but forgotten in many cases, His Word embellishes in His own familiar way that which would remain inadequate but for His intervention. Therefore look ahead to that promise embedded deep within your spirit by His very own hand and rely upon the leading of His Spirit in all things that pertain to your safe return to His keeping. Those who are aware must prepare the way for those less conscious of this ability to confront issues on the basis of His knowledge easily obtained, and not exclude His discipleship as a path to be followed and not ignored in the face of calamity and indecision that can overtake those whom have deemed themselves alone capable of charting their own course regardless of the treacherous waters that must be dealt with whether in His keeping or on their own. Jesus has set the course we must all follow on our way back to the Father’s House. Let us keep ourselves in agreement with His Word and His direction for a safe return.”

Hope for Humanity ArtsOlympus.org

Many of our fans with Infinity Magazine know that for the last number of months we have been covering one of the most unique cultural events in the world giving hope for a better world. This very special event is called the ARTS OLYMPUS, an organization of artists dedicated to earth, humanity and global goodwill that one day will set sail on a “Ship of Global Goodwill.” A modern day “Noah’s Ark,” artists assembled from all lands will reach out and touch the lives of millions of people as they traverse the oceans of the world. The ship will travel to entire populations of people in cities worldwide with free public performances to entertain, educate and celebrate world cultural diversity. ARTS & BUSINESS in London described the Arts Olympus as the “Sexiest Intercultural Event in the World.” Their press launch on the historic Queen Mary ship captured four and a half stars out of five in the LOS ANGELES TIMES with a dazzling free public display of performances representing many cultures. For over a decade the Arts Olympus has been positioning itself worldwide to create a global infrastructure to create practically a “United Nations of Artists.”

As they prepare for this first time ever event to take to the high seas, their non-profit organization has been searching the world for a suitable location to create a land base where they can assemble artists from all parts of the globe to compose, rehearse, and preview programing before taking it to audiences in the millions. This land base will house the “Olympus Village” an eco-friendly self-sustainable community that will host creative genius assembled from many nations. From here, artists will prepare programming while at the same time offer local audiences opportunities to experience some of the greatest talent on earth. Spectacular, exotic, and fascinating can only describe what the village audiences will have the opportunity to witness. Tourists coming from around the world will flock to this world class destination to be entertained with brilliant performances, be in the company of creative genius and make new friends on an international scale. The village will have venues that will include artist’s galleries, small multi-purpose black box theaters for theatrical productions and showing film, a children’s creative learning center, dance studios, an amphitheater, executive offices and artist’s live-work space. Unprecedented anywhere in

the world, this unique “Olympus Village” will not only be an international cultural center and educational institution but will create jobs, stimulate commerce, and dramatically increase tourism to the region.

After sending out a global appeal to patrons on all continents the universe stepped forward bringing the Arts Olympus an Angel who gave twenty acres in a beautiful country, Costa Rica. Documented as having one of the happiest populations in the world their Nobel Prize winning President relinquished the army and diverted it’s funding towards education. The country is also host to the University of Peace. The Arts Olympus feels Costa Rica is rather an appropriate home for artists dedicated for “Earth, Humanity and Global Goodwill.” The Arts Olympus believes that exposure to artistic expression in all its glorious forms, is an important component in developing harmony of body, mind and soul which increases all-around vitality of individuals and groups and better enables them to perform as peaceful, joyous members of the human race.

Now, that they are already half way to realizing their dream of having a home base for it’s on going global humanitarian work, Infinity Magazine is appealing to all you Angels out there to not let the ball drop and help them to continue moving forward on this unique project by making a tax deductible donation at their web site at www.artsolympus.org.

Infinity Magazine is indeed about making a better world with every issue. Considering all the tragic events that exist in the world today, we are proud to support the Arts Olympus giving hope for humanity. This exciting event will be not only a milestone in global understanding, but a milestone in the minds of all who believe that world peace starts form the heart.

We at Infinity Magazine thank you for your kind support.

Children of the World

Welcome to our new feature, “Children of the World”! In each issue Infi nity magazine will feature children of all ages spanning the globe, letting their voice be heard on various topics throughout the year.

Sponsored by ArtsOlympus.org

WordPlay

There is a wonderful place for children and teens to fi nd the wonder and magic of language. It is called WordPlay and it is the brainchild of Libby Hunter and Elissa Yancey. The stated mission is to “provide a creative and engaging third place for children, offering a safe and inspirational location outside of the home and school where children are supported in literacy with homework help, reading skills, creative and expository writing, collaborative arts and project based learning that encourages self-expression. “We aim to celebrate each child’s innate character, nurturing his or her natural passion to create and helping to build confi dence, self-worth and constructive social engagement.”

WordPlay’s after school tutoring, workshops and weekend programs are offered free of charge. The center strives for a one-to-one student –volunteer ratio because the staff believes the greatest leap in learning occurs with focused, individual attention. All creative work is project based, using kinesthetic learning to help children more fully understand concepts while giving them the opportunity to create a one of a kind end product they can take home and be proud of.

Wordplay is set to begin hosting high-energy writing programs as fi eld trip opportunities with schools in the fall of 2013. The schools will be predetermined y local teachers in collaboration with the WordPlay staff. In school programs are currently offered at Chase Elementary and will be introduced at the new Parker Woods School later this year.

The center is located at 4041 Hamilton Avenue in

Northside. Adjacent to the center space is its very special retail store, the Urban Legend Institute or ULI for short. The ULI “is the foremost institution for exploration, investigation and advancement of mythical, crypto, zoological and folkloric sciences for juveniles in the world!” The primary goal is to capture in words and pictures, scientifi c proof of urban legends, with a larger goal of capturing the hearts and minds of youth through the gateway of their imagination. Of special note, the store boasts a large selection of working, portable manual typewriters, which according to staff, the children, all born in the wireless word, LOVE to use for their work.

For more information on this wonderful center for creative mind and word play, programs, hours of operation and volunteer opportunities, please visit their website, www.wordplaycincy.org or call 513-260-9632.

Edgar Cayce (1877-1945) has been called the “sleeping prophet,” the “father of holistic medicine,” and the most documented psychic of the 20th century. For more than 40 years of his adult life, Cayce gave psychic “readings” to thousands of seekers while in an unconscious state, diagnosing illnesses and revealing lives lived in the past and prophecies yet to come.

Edgar Cayce could put himself into a sleep-like trance state by lying down on a couch, closing his eyes, and folding his hands over his stomach. In this state of relaxation and meditation, he was able to place his mind in contact with all time and space—the universal consciousness— and respond to questions. These responses, called “readings,” offer practical help and advice to individuals even today.

The majority of Edgar Cayce’s readings deal with holistic health and the treatment of illness. Individuals from all walks of life and belief receive physical relief from illnesses or ailments through information given in the readings. While best known for this material, the readings discuss an astonishing 10,000 different topics.

According to the readings, no matter what illness or ailment concerns us, certain basic principles about health and healing are relevant. First, all healing comes from the infi nite—from attunement and harmony with our spiritual source. The infi nite is just as accessible and available in the visible, physical world as it is in the invisible realm. Second, at the same time, each person must take responsibility for his or her own healing process. No one can simply sit back and wait passively for healing to occur.

The need for self-responsibility can take many forms. For example, healing requires attunement, and no one knows better than ourselves exactly what has gotten us out of attunement and is contributing to our illness. The human body has a marvelous, innate drive to heal itself, but we’ve got to do our part. A broken bone will naturally try to mend; however a fracture may need to be set.

Cayce stresses the healing ability of the body:

Remember, the body does gradually renew itself

constantly. Do not look upon the conditions which have existed as not being able to be eradicated from the system… Hold to that knowledge and don’t think of it as just theory that the body can, the body does renew itself! (Reading 1548-3)

Another important principle relates to energy medicine, a new field for which Edgar Cayce was a pioneer. His readings consistently speak of the roles played by vibratory forces—right down to the level of individual atoms. According to Cayce, a type of consciousness exists in each atom. Similar to a stringed musical instrument which can be returned to attunement, we experience healing when our vibrations are adjusted and brought into harmony.

Balance among body, mind, and spirit is another key to Cayce’s philosophy of healing. For healing to be complete and lasting, we must recognize and meet the needs of each of these three levels. Virtually no illness or disease can be treated successfully at only one level.

What’s more, Cayce affirms that the human body will naturally stay healthy—even rejuvenate itself—if a kind of internal balance can be maintained. “Dis-ease” starts when one part of the body draws energy from another. The readings asserted that we are continuously rebuilding our bodies and that within any seven-year period, every cell is replaced. If we’ll allow it, our bodies will transform any problem and resuscitate any condition, but our ingrained habits usually block this healing potential—the habits of action and, even more potent, the habits of mind.

Cayce’s philosophy clearly sees a place for medicine and drugs, but warns of misunderstanding how they work and of expecting more of them than is possible. For some situations, a drug may be the best way to accomplish this—just as in other cases surgery may be best. At times herbal tonics and stimulants were suggested rather than medicines. Medicines may diminish the body’s own healing work. True, lasting healing comes from changing one’s inner consciousness and vibration.

Cayce’s healing philosophy includes other insights that can help us avoid misunderstanding. One principle states that the best treatment procedures sometimes cause a temporary worsening of conditions. If we didn’t recognize this possibility, we might give up just before the benefits begin to appear. A closely related principle states that when a body is re-establishing its attunement, it tends to be more sensitive.

The mind is a focus of other healing principles. The unconscious mind plays a role in many illnesses and diseases. One example of this is the karmic factor in health problems. Memories from previous incarnations, stored in the soul mind, can trigger problems in the body. Of course, we shouldn’t go so far as to suppose that every health challenge has past-life roots; nevertheless, the perspective of reincarnation can help us understand what we could possibly be dealing with as we seek healing.

The familiar Cayce axiom, “Mind is the builder” leads us to wonder exactly which attitudes and emotions best foster healing.

The readings emphasize several other keys to healing:

•Self-acceptance. As we rid ourselves of self-condemnation, we make room for healing forces to enter.•Optimism and hope. We’re encouraged to expect healing.•Patience. It’s much easier and quicker to destroy health than it is to rebuild it. We need to be willing to patiently invest whatever time is required.•Purposefulness. Wellness comes from a life that reflects care for other people.

Alongside these specific attitudes and emotions, we’re invited to use the creative potential of visualization to stimulate our own healing. The mind’s image-making capacity can be directed in such a way that we “see” the healing transformation taking place. This is not something that’s accomplished in a single visualization session. Like all the Cayce health-promoting approaches, it requires persistence and works best in conjunction with other healing methods.

People who are looking for both inner and outer healing are the best candidates for restored health and vitality. In Cayce’s philosophy, healing should equip us to be more useful to others.

Never heard of it! Most people have not heard of such a thing. Well, you have one and so does everyone else. It is a very important valve in your intestinal system. Hopefully it is working properly in your system.

When it malfunctions it could be the mimic of many different syndromes in your body. Colic in young children is caused by an ileocecal valve that is stuck closed. To explain further, the ileocecal valve is a valve or door at the end of the small intestine that is supposed to open and close to all the digested food coming out of the small intestine called chyme, into the large intestine. But it’s primary function is to block any contents of the large intestine from backing up into the small intestine. All foods and nutrients are absorbed in the small intestine. This is where candida albicans bacteria aids in the absorption of all your “B” vitamins out of the food that you have digested, and is flowing down the small intestine. That is the only substance that should be in the small intestine.

If for some unknown reason the ileocecal valve gets stuck closed, It becomes very painful. This is based on the fact that toxins from the feces back up into the small intestine plus the ilieum of the small intestine balloons out creating a lot of abdominal pressure. It has been surmised that the lack of chlorophyll in the diet could be the causative factor that will precipitate the closed ileocecal valve.

A normal functioning ileocecal valve will open and allow the contents of the small intestine to flow into the large intestine, but first there is a small amount of feces that will fill the appendix that sends a signal to the hypothalamus in your head. This triggers the peristalisis of the large intestine to move the contents along in the large intestine.

A diet high in spicy foods or high roughage such as peppers and or pop corn will be a reason for the ileocecal to get stuck open. Cessation of these foods will help with the valve being open, but in many cases it may require some manipulative treatment to fix it so that it will function normally.

When the valve is not working as it should, it can create headaches, back aches, shoulder pain, abdominal pain and many other pain syndromes that will persist until it is fixed. We have talked about the valve being stuck closed,

but what happens if the valve gets stuck open. The chyme from the small intestine will then, without any control, be transferred into the large intestine without any regulation of quantity or quality because the valve is stuck open. Diarrhea could be caused by such a situation.

Many times this irritation is because the ileocecal valve is stuck open or closed, there is a reaction similar to that of a appendix in trouble. Further tests need to be done to differentiate between an ileocecal valve and an appendix. Many time the appendix is removed when it is not the problem. The appendix plays a very important role in the function of the large intestine’s peristalisis that moves the digested food through the colon. The appendix is the instrument that sends the signal to the hypothalamus to cause the peristalisis to start in the colon. God put it in your body for a reason though I’m sure you have heard, you can do without it.

Waking up in the morning fatigued, dark circles under your eyes, all are indicators of ileocecal valve involvement. If the valve is stuck closed many symptoms will occur. There are certain points that when stimulated, will correct the closing or opening of the ileocecal valve. When the valve is closed, the toxin from the feces will back up in your system causing you to be poisoned from the toxins. A skilled professional who knows how to fix the situation can correct this. I have been doing this for 35 years. It is not an uncommon finding.

The Earth Element

The five phases in Traditional Chinese Medicine is also known as the 5 elements theory. The Earth element is the center of the 5 elements of treatment, each element has two organs; one is yin and one is yang. The earth is the stomach and spleen, the stomach is the yang organ (hollow organs are yang), the spleen is the yin organ (solid organs are yin). One can look at yang as positive energy and yin as negative energy… Do not underestimate energy medicine, it is very profound, we are a smaller energy field operating in a larger energy field.

The late summer is the summer lengthening and heading toward the Fall season. It is known as the condition of dampness, the Earth element controls fluids and fluid movement in the body, it also controls muscles, the emotion of the earth element is being over joyful, getting overly excited, which also can cause inappropriate laughter at situations.

by Tommy R. Thompson, DC, NMD, LaC

The energy of worry can upset the center; your stomach is the sea of emotions. This is where over worrying can cause ulcers, indigestion, sour stomach, mouth and lip redness and peeling, mouth ulcers as well can occur.

This condition disturbs the “Shen” which is the spirit of the heart and mind. Interestingly enough Asian medicine doesn’t recognize the endocrine system as a stand alone entity but integrated with the organ and organ systems. I.e. spleen/pancreas, kidney/adrenal, triple burner/pericardium, these are examples of the systems.

On Tue Aug 27@ 6:00 at the CMC learn about stomach health, learn how to reduce heartburn and eliminate acid blockers, how the spleen and lymph system are related to blood stasis and poor circulation. Astrology by Mary full weight of Saturn’s heavy hand which just requires you to deal seriously with the issues at hand, which for many will relate to career vs. home matters. Don’t forget in this time frame to pay more attention to your own health. Typically, you feel invincible, but Saturn demands that you deal with the obvious issues about health. On a more positive note, this period begins with you in the lime light, and new plans are surfacing at work. Lovely aspects abound for children or romance, and also a new market for your talents is opening up.

f Sagittarius November 22–December 21

This period finds you involved in numerous aspects of life, some trying, some supportive. Jupiter, your ruling planet, shows up in a money house, and a few might just hit it big! But for many, this shows as money spent because of home conditions, possibly children who need money, or you are buying/selling property. Those of you who wish to improve their psychic/intuitive skills should take more time right now, because the planets smile on you as you meditate on your angelic helpers!

g Capricorn December 21 – January 19

More and more of you Capricorns are really “getting it” when it comes to remaking yourself, which you will do perfectly, as your ruling planet, Saturn, is in Scorpio which will point out what you need to leave behind and what you need to embrace as you become a “new you.” The other transiting planets are creating a “push-pull” dialogue between home, marriage, career, goals, etc. A favorable area resides in some new learning which could be extensive, but supportive to your goals.

h Aquarius January 19 – February 18

Your ruling planet, Uranus, is emphasizing new learning tools, perhaps more computer skills, and friendly

b Leo July 22 – August 22

You are hot stuff these days, Leo, with August bringing social gatherings, and plenty of audience approval. The new and full moons in August will register this activity. At the same time, there will be family matters which do claim some attention, and some of you will be working on fixing up “this old house”. There are still concerns about parent figures but you do seem to have the ability to find the “goose that lays the golden egg” so you are still king after all of your own world.

c Virgo August 22 – September 22

This period begins with you feeling out of sorts either at work or with health, which will culminate at end of August. You may just feel like throwing in the towel, but actually many of the planets are rallying to your defense, and plans for future goals look promising. This period especially make plans about what you want and what it will take, study wise, to get there. Family matters, children, or even grandchildren are big right now.

d Libra September 22 – October 23

You have a lot on your plate, Libra, and you are doing a great balancing act between adjusting to your partner’s needs (which keep changing), and doing your thing as the Mom-Pop of the family. Some will of course be concerned about parents, and others will bask in the joys of motherhood. Admittedly not much time for recreation, but September finds you joining your friends for “girl’s night out”. Don’t overlook your own health needs, as Sept. might find you a bit weary.

e Scorpio October 23 – November 21

Yes, Scorpio, some of you are truly beginning to feel the

interactions with like-minded people, as well as a quick journey with friends and/or family members. The old ruler of Aquarius, Saturn, is bringing up some obligations that have finally surfaced, and yet at the same time is smiling on your employment house, as well as positive reinforcements in the financial area. Don’t discount the fact that much support is showing as you continue to develop your spiritual gifts. The labor here won’t seem to be as burdensome, and you will be surprised at how many eager plans will fall into place!

i Pisces February 18 – March 20

Instead of feeling left out most of the time, Pisces, the future is looking good for you, especially with regards to developing your innate spiritual gifts. For a long time you were slow to admit, but now they are becoming more obvious, and therefore more easily accepted. Other planets are being very supportive so do take the current opportunity to re-define your future goals. The new and full moons in August will help you to hold your head high, and then the lunar energy in September will show you how you can be of service with your new talents.

^ Aries March 20 – April 19

For you, Aries, the outward events in life – home, career, plus your own health, are demanding a lot of attention, especially for early Aries, and many of the demands may have you feeling that you want to bow out. This would be especially true in Aug. But by September, you are in control again, and feeling that you have a game plan in mind. There are some obvious monetary expenses to be hammered out, but in truth, the results do seem to be in your favor. Just take the time to do what is best for all concerned, and your angels will quietly work to resolve the issues.

_ Taurus April 19 – May 20

Your ruling planet, Venus, is busy indeed. In August it speaks very nicely about your children, or grandchildren, and positive gatherings, so enjoy the summer’s end as best you can. In August you might have a checkup with the doctor, or a spouse could be under the weather. But by September there will be social gatherings, and possibly a formal occasion to get all dolled up for. Since you are an earth sign, and there are many planets currently transiting In water, then your garden will be growing beautifully – both literally and spiritually.

` Gemini May 20 – June 21

You are one busy bird dog, Gemini, as you are traveling around, enjoying social occasions early on, then spending some time on the home front (to clean), and then once again having good times with romantic partners, or new found friends. However, areas of the chart that demand work being done (or redone), plus some accounting, etc. don’t loom as fun-fun, but are part of the necessary pattern. Some of you more artistically inclined may find support and rewards for efforts to express this way.

a Cancer June 22-July 22

Your life is ruled by the moon, and Jupiter is now in your sign, so the next year promises to be great. And lunar energy says that there are endless changes going on. This period will start with some fun-loving expenses, turn into health patterns possibly of siblings, and wind up with a social gathering or some new item for the home. For those who are employed, there could be sudden surprises in store by management. But on the plus side, in areas dealing with recre-ation, fun, romance, etc. then everything is ready, get set, go! Obviously a period demanding that you keep up with it!
