Industrial LCD Monitors for Rack Mounting
Robust and configurable: New Monitors from Distec allow effortless
installation
Germering (Germany) September 17, 2014 – Distec - leading German specialist
for TFT flat screens and system solutions for industrial and multimedia
applications – introduces new LCD monitors optimized for use in industrial 19-
inch racks. Two solid handles facilitate safe installation and the 3 mm thick steel
front plate ensures a secure fit in the 19-inch rack. "The new monitors are
robust, convenient, easy to handle and ready for installation," explained Werner
Schubert, Managing Director of Distec. "For assembly you only need to insert
and bolt them down. The wide range of versions satisfies the requirements of
industrial application areas such as manufacturing plants, data centers and for
event management, laboratory and control technology." The monitors are
available with TFT-displays in sizes 10.4", 15", 17.3" and 19" (26.41 cm to 48.3
cm) and the front plate has a height of 5 to 9 units. The front panel color can be
customized according to the corporate design and a logo print is possible. A
special rack mount version includes two 10.4" TFT displays in portrait mode.
In order to offer a perfect solution for the requirements of the application, the
19-inch rack-monitors can be supplied either with a video card with VGA / DVI
or with an integrated PC. The customer can choose between an AMD T56N
platform or a modern 15 watt 4th generation Intel Core i CPU. A resistive touch
screen is available as an option for all display sizes.
The monitors are especially designed for professional use. We only use rugged,
industrial components and the high product quality ensures a long lifetime.
