Daihatsu CUVA Concept

ACHILLES blank tire. The tires were made from their 18” slick tires; made with a soft compound, cured and hand-carved to form a special PROTOTYPE pattern. White paint were used to compliment the rim design and red paint to make the pattern stand out. Overall, both cars and tires were one of the most interesting exhibit that raises many curiosity during the show. Photographed and advertised.

• Infiniti is also moving towards RFT for their latest models – Q50 and Q50s

Found on BMW x35i Line with Goodyear Eagle F1 255/50R19, Goodyear is putting the word “SUV 4x4” to differentiate their dedicated high performance line up for SUV.

New Idea

Putting words like “Classe Premiere” to lift up the image of the tire. This is found on Hyundai i10 fitted with Nexen CP661 165/65R14. A budget car, with an entry level OEM tire.

“Outside” and “205/55R16” are written in tilted direction (off center) on the sidewall. This is NEXEN N’Blue HD 205/55R16 found on new KIA Carens DCVVT.

Conclusion

A good exhibition that gives further exposure for GT Radial being one of the main sponsors and tire supporters.

Future action: 1. To investigate the possibilities of developing the 47 (62-

15) sizes that were missing from the show by gathering data from export and domestic market.

2. To investigate the possibilities of having RFT line up for the future.

3. To see the implementation of the new design ideas for our new GT Radial line up

4. To see the possibilities of having blank molds in few sizes for future concept cars display. Being featured in a concept cars is very effective and efficient way to lift up GT Radial brand.
