The Fair for Life Social & FairTrade Certification Programme combines strict social and fair trade standards with adaptability to local conditions. This presentation is intended to show how Fair for Life Certification guarantees that human rights are guaranteed at any stage of production, that workers enjoy good and fair working conditions and that smallholder farmers receive a fair share. Emphasis will be placed on the grassroots efforts of the Global South as a model for community led resistance in the north.
