MIMG Student Travel Award Application

The department of Microbiology, Immunology & Molecular Genetics (MIMG) will grant travel awards to eligible students in the Infection, Inflammation & Immunity Discipline to attend a conference.

To be eligible for the Student Travel Award, you must be:

- A UT Health SA graduate PhD student in the Infection, Inflammation & Immunity discipline. - In good academic standing. - Attending one of the following conferences: American Association of Immunologist (AAI), American

Society for Virology (ASV), or the American Society for Microbiology (ASM).

Submit a complete application form, NIH biosketch and a one-page summary describing why you want to attend the conference, unofficial transcript, abstract of presentation, letter of recommendation from mentor, and proof that you have applied for an additional travel award/support to YukerA@uthscsa.edu. Please also submit a list of publications, awards and other support material. Deadline: March 31st. If they deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, the application will be due the working week day before.
