Class Expectations

• Respect each other!!!!!• (and me)• I NEVER even want to

see cell phones once that bell rings….I will NOT take mine out so neither will you.

• Be sensitive to each others feelings and needs!!!

Grades!!!!!

• You will be graded on a total points system.

• Homeworks will be given once a week…always due on a Monday!!!

• Quizzes will be in ALL sorts of formats.

• There will be MANY projects throughout the year!!!

External assessment (4 hours) 80%

Paper 1 (2 hours)

Section A: Three compulsory short answer questions.  One from the BLA, CLA and SLA.  You MUST answer each.

Section B: Three questions on the BLA, CLA and SLA. Students choose one question to answer in essay form.

(46 marks)

35%

Paper 2 (2 hour)

Fifteen questions from other topics in psychology. Students choose two question to answer in essay form.

(44 marks)

Paper 3 (1 hour) 

Three compulsory short-answer questions on Research Methods (30 marks)

Internal assessmentA report of a simple experimental study conducted by the student.(28 marks) 20%
