University group/report Wide group – DVC, IT, Library, SU, GSA, Academic
representatives PESTLE analysis of situation at the time Identified areas across the University that needed
improvement in order to deliver “excellent” information services

Five year strategy – 2008-2013 Prioritises approximately 40 lines of action, grouped into
several programmes Received £1.5m of capital funding to “kickstart” the
strategy
