I was

alone and sad

I missed my town,

my home and my bed

I missed my books, my bike and my pets


I missed my friends,

technology and the Internet

I missed school, the boys and the girls


I missed the trees, the sea and the wind


And the streets

screamed:


”Where are my dreams?”

And the darkness fell deep inside me


My skin had turned dark

The green scenery was now sand


Nothing to eat, life was

hard

I shall emigrate, certainly I shall

While these thoughts, ...the alarm

rang

I was in my bed! I had come back!


I shan’t emigrate, now I shan’t


Oh, dear! How lucky we

are!
