As a pioneer of the operating theatre solution supplier, Mindray has merged the latest technology into the HyLED 9 Series surgical lights to provide the best illumination to the surgery.The surgeon can focus his attention only on the operation since it is not necessary to worry about the performance or readjustment. Since the medical team has to stand below the surgical light, some parts of the LEDs will be inevitably obstructed. But with the intelligent AICS, the loss of such illumination will be compensated. The obstructed parts of the LEDs will not turn off while other parts of bulbs will be brighter to maintain the center illumination.

This "Cross" shape of light head can be put in a proper position, which makes doctors' heads in the four corners. And it can also provide a homogeneous light beam & light patch, as what the right picture shows. Light field diameter is adjustable from 180 to 330 mm for various of size operating fields. Up to 330mm of the maximum diameter, together with a perfect match of double light head , HyLED 9 Series is the ideal light source for the surgery, which has a big wound filed to be illuminated, such as cardiovascular or orthopedic operation.

Depending on different surgical situations, the surgeon can choose daylight-quality light, at the standard of 4,350 K, or give operation at a higher or lower color temperature . This function will be helpful to distinguish the difference between various tissue types and the perception of true tissue colors. Additionally, each surgeon has individual sensitivity towards color, which also requires various options.

There are Three Commercial Methods of Color Temperature Regulation:

Primary color mixedThe three primary colors (red, green and blue) are blended. The drawback is that surgeons standing under the light will obstruct the light sources for certain colors when a color temperature is configured, because light color derives from blending light sources from different directions. As color temperature changes with the movement of surgeons

Choose color temperature by powerEnergy output is tuned to change the color temperature of light source. The drawback is that LED luminous efficacy will attenuate as temperature of the internal circuit board rises. Therefore, color temperature rise will cause energy output to increase, which affects heat dissipation from the surgical light. Dynamic unbalance in heat dissipation in turn causes temperature rises, light source instability and service life instability.

Color temperature pre-mixed Mindray uses a special light source system with a uniform mixed light of cool white light and warm white light; the light colors within the surgical area will not change even when surgeons block some of the light source during surgery. Therefore, the optimal color temperature adjustment mode is only recommended in the extreme conditions such as cardiac surgery. In addition, this adjustment mode is only available in HyLED9700/9500 series.

Unique electrical control patternEvery single LED in a light head generates a homogeneous light field, together providing a light with uniform illumination across the entire surgical light field. HyLED 9 Series use the unique electrical control pattern towards adjustable light filed diameter: increase or decrease the quantity of the lighted bulbs. Compared with mechanical pattern, such adjustment will be much smoother without any rapid illumination change, which can protect surgeon 's eyes.

Say “no” to refocusOnce positioned, HyLED 9 Series will work as the closest partner of the surgeon. Stable spring arm from Ondal, intelligent AICS function together with excellent performance, there will be no any other concern about the refocus.

Perfectly integrated into laminar flowThanks to the "cross" shape light head design, smooth finish and small air flow contact surfaces, HyLED 9 Series surgical lights generate minimized turbulence in the laminar flow.

Illumination in depth Because of the excellent photology design in the light head , the maximum depth of the beam is approximately 1,200 mm which is very important in case of the small and deep wound field.
