HVAC Contractor Inspection Form/Checklist Process

Pull up the Daily Calendar in DASH, for the next day.  Locate all of the services that contain “ES” (Energy Star) and “Final”: ES‐Final NO LtO, ES‐Final w/LtO, Xcel‐ES‐Final NO LtO, ES‐09 Code‐Final w/LtO, etc.

On your second DASH screen, pull up the job and go to the Files & Photos tab.  Check for an HVAC Contractor checklist in the dedicated file slot.  If it is not there, you cannot proceed. If it is there, click on the green arrow next to the file slot to open up the checklist for reference.

The checklist will open as a .pdf file on your screen. You will be using the information in the checklist to fill in data fields on the inspection form for that particular job.  

Leave the checklist open on one screen and return to DASH to open the inspection form.

The final inspection form has several tabs, choose the Mechanical/Ventilation/Testing tab.

  From the Mechanical System screen expansion, open the HVAC Checklist Review section.
