HUMANITIES AND SOCIAL SCIENCESThe Humanities and Social Sciences Facility is located just north of Cowell College, in the northeast corner of the campus core.

Those walking or arriving by Metro bus or campus shuttle should disembark at the Crown/Merrill bus stop.

For those driving from the Main Entrance, stay on Coolidge Drive. Shortly after Coolidge turns left and becomes McLaughlin Drive, turn left at the second opportunity, following the sign for Cowell College. The Humanities and Social Sciences facility is the first group of buildings on your right.

There are several options for visitor parking. The first small lot on the left is not available for visitor parking. The second parking lot on the left is reserved for "A" and "B" permits, but there are also several 10-minute spaces. You may also continue on the service road as it goes down a hill to several larger parking lots. The lot on the right has metered parking.

Those needing accessible parking spaces have several options. There are two accessible spaces located in front of the Humanities and Social Sciences Facility, one space in the Cowell Circle, and several "medical" spaces reserved in the first small lot mentioned above. ("Medical" spaces are reserved for those with disabilities, but who don't need the additional width of standard accessible parking spaces.)

Parking permits are required in most lots on weekdays between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. Lot designations are subject to change; it is advisable to check the permit requirements posted at parking lot entrances when parking on campus. One-day visitor permits may be purchased at the main entrance Kiosk, or at the TAPS Sales Office located in the H Barn at the base of campus. Parking meters are posted regarding hours of enforcement.
