I s i t a l l GREEK to You??
As another school year comes to a conclusion I thank each one of you for
taking time to read about all of the wonderful things Greek members at
Henderson State University have accomplished during Fall 2013-Spring 2014.
Our Greek Chapters have strived to excel in and out of the classroom. Several
of our Greek members participated in national, regional and state competitions.
Several members are excelling here in our campus and within our community.
Most of them you may not recognize them as Greeks; but they are members of
our Greek community. They are in your classrooms and within the student
organizations you advise.
Our Greek members throughout the year have coordinated events, provided
educational programs, served our community with countless hours and have
followed the policies enforced by the Greek Life Office.
Though many allegations against Greek chapters/members were brought to the
Greek Life Office; and after further investigation in collaboration with on
Campus advisors, Henderson Police and Arkadelphia Police department, none
of them were found guilty of such allegations.
As we, Greek Life Office, continue to provide oversight and guidance to the
fraternities and sororities at Henderson State University, we hope you can join
us and keep collaborating and supporting each one of our students. We hope
you will learn more about them and will recognize the positive achievements
and contributions our Greek members bring to Henderson and the Arkadelphia
community.
It shouldn’t and will not be ALL Greek to you, We promise!

GREEK ALPHABET
Learning the Greek Alphabet and/or Greek terminology can be very beneficial for parents,
students, faculty and staff at Henderson State University. Especially for those who are new to
the world of Fraternities and Sororities.
We, Greek Life Office, believe that the more familiar you are with the Greek alphabet and/or
Greek terminology, the better off you will be when meeting some of our wonderful Greek
members at Henderson State University.
